Yup, TNT is  tipping the softball cap to us by scheduling the new Jennifer Beals show, Proof, right after Rizzoli & Isles.

Proof will premiere June 10 at 10 pm EST, right after the season premiere of Rizzoli & Isles.

See our previous articles on PROOF.

The scheduling bodes well for Beals and Proof since Rizzoli & Isles has been the most successful TNT series to date.

The scheduling is also yet another “innuendo” about Rizzoli & Isles… yeah, they’re straight, wink wink. And they just so happened to think that Rizzles fans might like the new JENNIFER BEALS, ICONIC STAR OF THE L WORD, show.

Have you seen the newest promo picture? Does she not look like ALPHA BETTE in her black suit?

Or Jane Rizzoli in her ever present black suit:

So, we’ve got the battle of the black suits on the strong, tall brunettes. One of those sexy women is quasi-relationship with a doctor. The other IS a doctor.

Somewhere, there should be a judge and jury because I REST MY CASE. This was no coincidental scheduling. TNT likes their lesbian fans. Their lesbian fans want some lesbian characters from TNT. Stop teasing us and using us, and give us full fledged lesbian characters, or we’ll…

Stop watching Rizzles?
Not watch Beals?

Damn. They’ve got between Beals and Harmon with a side of Sacha Alexander!

We’re screwed!
(You wish!)

We’ll watch. And we’ll complain. And maybe someday they’ll throw us, the loyal fans, more than innuendo.

So what do you think? Am I reading too much in to the scheduling? Do you think TNT is playing with us?
