Fresh from the cancellation (big mistake, FOX) of her latest series “The Chicago Code”, Jennifer has been spending her summer between Los Angeles and her hometown Chicago, attending various gatherings. In June, Jennifer attended an event called Conversations through the Screen Actors Guild Foundation, where she spoke about her craft. Her advice to the young actors was, “Got to love auditions & always focus on your craft” as she explained that every time she auditions, it makes her happy because she gets to share her talent, if only for a brief moment.

Jennifer and her husband, an avid hockey fan, were also present at the NHL Awards where Jennifer presented the Hart Memorial Trophy to Corey Perry.

Her most exciting event just happened a week ago when Jennifer was a spokesman during Dalai Lama’s visit to Chicago. In a few of her most recent interviews Jennifer admitted that she was very excited to meet His Holiness again because last time it happened, he made her feel like she was the only person in the room…and he had a great sense of humor.
