Lucy Lawless has made a triumphant comeback as Lucretia in Starz’s television series, “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.” Lawless co-starred in the previous “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” as the sinfully seductive wife of a gladiator trainer. Perhaps it was the graphic lesbian sex scenes in “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena” that helped bring the character back. Lucretia wasn’t supposed to return for the six-part prequel. By popular demand, not only is Lawless back, but she’s here to stay as a main character.

I have been a HUGE fan of Lucy Lawless in Xena. She gets more beautiful every year, and I love her as Lucretia. I fall in love with her characters and they stick with me. I am so excited for Spartacus:Vengeance to start tonight. I was hooked the past two seasons and even went as far as hosting Spartacus parties at my place. I AM WAYYY excited for the show to start up again. Gonna miss Batiatus, but she’s too beautiful to be tied down. I’m missing out on the Xena Convention, is never able to afford to go, but hopefully if Spartacus has a few conventions I’ll make it to one to meet my biggest role model Lucy Lawless.
