Let’s start with the GOOD news first:  #Rizzles returns Tuesday, June 17 for their Season 5 Premiere. They’ll be in their usual 9 pm ET time slot.

And of course the best news: it’s the most watched drama on cable AND it’s been renewed for Season 6.

Ok, but… we have to face that that is 3 full months of no Jane/Maura sexual tension and innuendo. Thank goddesses for fanfiction!

So – the finale. Here is the official summary:

In the Season 4 finale, a senator’s daughter is murdered, leading to an investigation that could put national security at risk. Elsewhere, Tommy falls back into old habits, stirring up tension with Frankie. And finally, Jane reveals some stunning news.

Now on to more to chew on…

Homeland Security gets involved when a senator’s daughter is found murdered. The Rizzoli/Corsack/Frost team is on the scene, but it could put national security at risk. Note: Lee Thompson Young’s stand-in and body double is in this episode. Sadly, Lee Thompson Young died before this episode was filmed. His character will be written out of the show in Season 5.

Tommy and Lydia have an engagement party, but Tommy and Frankie get into a fight after Tommy starts slipping back into bad old habits. This results in a busted lip for Frankie, and there is Maura to the rescue…

For crap’s sake. Maura is looking for the boy version of Jane again. Siiigh.

Last but not least – it looks like we’re going to get Jane’s decision about Casey’s proposal.
