L-word: What kind of support do you get from your family? Based on your tweets, your mom thinks that your novel is crap, though I’m sure she just meant Cool Radiant Amazing Perfect (LOL)
AH: HAHAHAHA ! My mom is my BIGGEST supporter of all (as well as my wife) and because of how wonderful she is (and because of my snarky sense of humor) I had to make a joke out of her saying my book was “CRAP”. (Cool-Radiant-Amazing-Perfect !!!) I have also had great support from my father, Wayne Holloman, and I have to credit him with introducing me to the Outer Banks and fishing. The Outer Banks and surf fishing have a small part in the novel. My father has been a great role model for me.
L-word: Do you have any plans to write more?
AH: I do. I have a rough draft started on my 2nd novel. It has been harder to devote time to it due to all the work involved in launching “Shades of Gray” but my excitement about this new novel is quite high and I anticipate devoting much more time to it after my work with this launch is complete.

On November 5 Andy announced that pre-launch is on and anyone who is interested can pre-order his book before it hits the bookstores or amazon.com. The pre-launch also comes with another surprise. All copies are signed by the author and his sister, Laurel. In addition, $1.00 from each copy sold will be donated to Tom’s Shoes, a great charity that promises to give a pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair you purchase.
Check out Andy’s blog HERE to get your copy.
