1. i liked ep1 in that the core characters were introduced in a way that flowed.
2. Liked that Bette and Shane are entering into a new chapter wrt their careers with Alice to have a definite impact perhaps to both.
3. Already intrigue is present and with the intro of Dani&Sophie and their marriage now in the picture, it’ll be interesting to see how the navigate this thoroughly new life change.
4. i like that there is intrigue concerning whether Bette will be able to collaborate with Dani in her run for mayor. Dani is a “I want to please daddy girl” so will see how she handles family business commitments vs stepping out perhaps “against” the Family.
5. Hinley will be a hoot!! ???? Wonder who will end up being the person that drives them all batty?????
6. The biggest mystery for me is Bette. I wondered how would the writers re-introduce her?
After all, when we last saw her, she was proposing to Tina and Tina was shaking her head saying “yes”. They were heading to NYC!! Those two were so in sync in season 6 and had learned when to argue and when to let it go. They trusted one another to make the right decision for them.
Even in this series, Bette seems to be the character that displays the “contradiction in character” that can be found in any one of us. She has very strong moral strength in that she doesnt want to be bought or compromised, but yet cant see the lines being crossed in her boss-to-employee or single-to-married relationships. That shit always comes back to bite her in the butt ! ????.
Just askin’….is being a “consenting adult” covering for any and all we do? ????
