Edie Falco’s “Tommy” has been canceled. I thought Edie was fantastic, and I loved the character. but the writing was super weak.

I watched the entire series & Edie as always was terrific. She is always a fabulous actresses & her portrayals are so realistic.
I agree that the beginning of the series was a bit difficult to follow as you got to know all the characters & how they all fit together. I did think it was a sad comment on LA as it turned out that there was so much corruption in the mayor’s office. Unfortunately now we will not be able to see Tommy bring that mayor down & put him behind bars.
So sorry that the show didn’t get renewed – shame that another series that had a major gay/lesbian lead role can’t make tit to the second season.
But looking forward to the next project for Edie!!!!!!!!!
