A fair warning: if there are any side remarks about the upcoming shows, they express my personal opinions and in no way should influence your decisions on what to watch.
The 2011-2012 Fall Schedule: CBS
CBS network announced five new shows, three dramas and two comedies, along with their 19 returning shows, including Rules of Engagement, The Good Wife, Criminal Minds, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Considering that CBS is called the nation’s most watched network, it is a little surprising that it picked up fewer new shows than the other networks.
The network also cancelled several of their shows. While some cancellations were surprising, others weren’t. Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior was one show whose cancellation didn’t shock me. I personally believe that not all shows should have spin-offs, no matter how excellent or successful they are. When the new team and a spin-off were introduced in the fifth season of Criminal Minds, I wasn’t interested in it all, so, unlike The Chicago Code, Criminal Minds spin-off’s cancellation didn’t bother me, no offense to anyone who was watching it.

Other shows that ended in the cancellation column are Medium, Chaos, The Defenders, and Mad Love.
So let’s look at CBS Fall and midseason schedule.
