I Will Not Let You Fall
Tina opened her eyes and quickly closed them back, when the piercingly bright sunlight hit her retina. She groaned weakly and ran both her hands across her face in fatigue. Understanding that she should open her eyes to shut an alarm clock up, Tina moaned again and finally unlinked her eyelids. She took her iPhone, which lied beside the pillow, and turned off the irritating sound.
7:40 a.m.
”Ughh” The blonde breathed out and plopped her head down back on the pillow. She streched in full-length and rolled over, bumping into something. Tina looked at her side and saw the most beautiful face she had ever seen.
Bette Porter lied beside her, sleeping like a baby. Her peaceful slumber seemed to not even slightly having been disturbed in spite of all the noise and movement Tina had produced. Her mouth was a bit slack, releasing smooth breaths in and out. The tangled dark curls were all over her pillow, some fell on her flawless face.
Tina got more comfortable with a sideways pose and smiled at the sight before her. She gently brushed away the dark curls from Bette’s eyes and fondled her cheek so softly that her fingers barely touched Bette’s skin. Tina then caressed brunette’s strong jawline, making the way down to her pointed chin and lingering there. She felt the hair stand up on her arm followed by a wave of goosebumps, when Bette’s warm breath had reached her.
The blonde couldn’t recall when was the last time she was this happy to wake up in the morning, even though she had slept for about two or three hours. Moreover, she realized that it was the first time she woke up in a bed with the person she was enormously in love with. And she herself was loved as well.
Tina’s smile grew as broad as possible and her body warmed up all over at the remembrance. Bette said it. Bette said she was in love with her. And Tina said it back.
Life was great.
A happy snicker escaped Tina’s mouth before she could stop it. She suddenly wanted to laugh at the top of her lungs from the happiness life had granted her with.
Unwilling to bother Bette’s sleep furthermore, Tina kissed her bare shoulder gingerly and got off the bed. She spotted Bette’s white shirt, which was lying in a crumpled state on the floor, and slipped it on her naked torso. Strolling down the apartment, she again grimaced at the bright light. She couldn’t understand how Bette lived without any curtains or venetian blinds at least, but given that the windows were quite sizable it was not a big surprise there weren’t any.

Ok, i think they should have a talk. Tina doesn’t know much about Bette, but i believe they really love each other, but Bette should be honest with Tina about her past and her job, before Tina’s dad discover it.
Great story.

I agree with Bibi28 they should sit and talk. What Im afraid is Albert might interrogate her at the dinner? Bette sounds like she can be a good person so Im hoping for a good twist.

In last chapter Bette asked Tina to spend the night with her “tomorrow”, that means Tina came over and spent it with her the next day after last chapter’s events. Hope it helps (:
