    Ashley thinks, Spencer acts.

    “Nice of you to show up this time,” Jordan teased as we wrapped up our pre-recording meeting. We were starting tomorrow and had to make a list of the songs we wanted on it, which was a lot more stressful than it sounds.

    “I know, I thought it would be a good gesture,” I joked.

    “Any word from her?”

    “No,” I replied, the smile fading from my face.

    “Hey, don’t worry about it.”

    “How can I not? We’ve never gone this long without speaking to each other,” I said exasperatedly as familiar tears filled my eyes. I blinked them back, refusing to look Jordan in the eye. “I really think this is it for us. I don’t think she wants to be with me anymore.”

    “Do you want it to be over?” he asked.

    “Absolutely not. I love her… so much.”

    “Then tell her.”

    “I can’t just tell her. I have to show her. I need to prove I love her,” I said. “I just don’t know how.”

    “Well I don’t know Spencer as well as you do, but I can probably steer you in the right direction. Think of something she cares about, something that’s important to her, and then show a real interest in it. It doesn’t have to be a real interest, you just need to act like it’s real,” he suggested.

    “And then?”

    “Then you get her back.”

    “Easier said than done.”

    “Ash, you two are supposed to be together. Anyone can tell by looking at you guys when you’re around each other. And you know what, maybe it’ll take some time before she realizes it but eventually she will,” he said. I felt the tears brimming over and I looked down to wipe them away. He patted my back a little as I regained my composure. “Hey, want to go grab a bite to eat?”

    “No thanks, I’m actually meeting someone,” I told him.

    “Alright, well, I’ll see you tomorrow?”

    “Yup.”

    “Take care, Ash.”

    “Thanks Jordan.” I headed back to my apartment. I wasn’t meeting anyone, I just felt like being alone, especially since I’d have to be with him non-stop for at least a couple weeks while we’re recording. I started to think over what Jordan said, about finding something she cared about. Well, she cared about school but I don’t think I could ever fake an interest in that. She cared about me… no, that wouldn’t work. Her family? I already had a close relationship with her dad, and her brothers were fine. But her mom… Maybe I could think of something in that department.

    9. Spencer is so fuckin stupid. First, she is stupid for saying they needed a break after Ashley was gone for 3 days. Yes, she was worried, but she know how Ashley is, she knows she has her demons, her insecurities; and then she went to LA. Ash is respecting Spencer’s decision by not badgering her while she is in LA. Spencer is gonna end her own relationship if she fucks this girl, she is so stupid. If Ash fucked someone while they were on this so called “break” Spencer would be highly upset. I hate girls like this Carly, they take advantage. Carly knows the situation and she knows that Spencer isn’t single, plus Spencer is drunk *shakes head*. Spencer is so stupid

Okay Kozmic, I know that the dirty dog in me was all about the Carly rollercoaster, but I want to get off…umm, I mean get off of the rollercoaster. Here we are, just about to go over the first drop and I don’t know if my stomach can take it! IF Spencer and Carly get sexified, I’m hoping it’ll be a one time/one night thing that’ll “help” Spencer realize that she and Ashley are meant to be. Do like Beyonce and, “Work it Out!” I mean, sure a royal rumble will occur when/IF Ashley finds out that Carly’s been up in her woman’s “stuff” (I should write Hallmark Cards), but I’ll handle that better than Spencer and Carly going long term…I define long term as extending beyond the week that Spencer is home. ANYWAY, sorry about the novel that is this comment. Loved the chapter, love this story and excited to see if you’re going to let me off of this rollercoaster (if not, please let the safety bar be secure).
