Aiden squirmed back and forth attempting to catch a glimpse of the screen behind Spencer. The blonde was having none of it and refused to move. “Spencer, can it wait? I’m watching the game.” Aiden complained.
The blonde turned around and pressed the power button turning off the television and turning back to Aiden hoping to get her point across. She was more nervous than she had ever been in her entire life. Her hands shook as her mind raced for suggestions of what to say. “You might want to uh…sit down.” Spencer suggested.
Aiden looked curiously. “Um, I am sitting.”
“Right, well…” Spencer began to pace around the living room talking without a sound. She let herself mouth the words before speaking them so she knew what to say. “You know a month ago I made a terrible mistake by…by…well I…” She couldn’t say it. She had cheated on him and couldn’t say it.
“Had an affair?” Aiden finished for her.
Spencer took a second to look at him shocked before continuing her pacing. It soon came to her attention that spilling your guts is a good work out with as much walking as you do. “Right, well a month ago I thought it was a mistake. I mean you have been this great guy and I love you, but you see I’m not…”
Spencer’s phone began to sing and dance in her pocket and the ring tone automatically told her it was the brunette. “Hey.” She said simply but hiding her shaky nerves.
“Hey, what are you up to?” Ashley asked curiously with her smiled bleeding into her voice.
“Uh, nothing much” Spencer lied. “What’s up?”
“Well, for the first half of the day they are recording instrumental stuff. So I have the day off until 1 in the afternoon.”
“Oh, that’s great!” Spencer tried sounding excited for the girl but it was a bit heard considering the circumstances.
“Yeah I know, so get your butt over here so we can go hang out together. Or you know…Stay in?” Ashley spoke in her best teasing tone.
“Mm, so tempting but I don’t know if I can.”
“Come on, after today we are never going to get a chance like this for a long time.” Ashley pleaded. She was right though. Ashley had a job, as much as they liked to ignore it, it was still true. Spencer was currently looking at possibly starting a career as a high school teacher, as much as she despised it. They were both grown adults and they had lives apart from each other.

Hello has anyone explaind what marriage is to this girl!?!?!?!? I mean for crying out loud is she on crack? Why the hell do you want to marry someone just to see if things will get better and what’s more why do it when you know that you’re in love with someone else! This girl is making no sense and she knows it or she wouldn’t have had to lie to Ash about not loving her! This shit needs to be sorted out! Please post soon.
