After sitting outside for a few minutes Alice finally makes it back inside the house.

Hey Dana, is Shane still here? asks Alice.

Uh, yeah I think so…. I didnt see her leave. Are you okay, you seem a little… out of it.

Oh yeah, Im fine. If you see Shane tell her Im looking for her, okay?

Sure. With that Alice goes back to looking for Shane. She spots her talking Tina, and decides to wait for them to finish talking.

(Shane and Tinas conversation)

So, I told her I told Alice. Shane says as she walks up to Tina.

And what did she say? Tina says excitedly.

Nothing, I said it, then I got up, and now Im here.

And why didnt you stay and talk?

Because… Im scared, this is going to affect our friendship, and I dont know how… it could get better, but mostly Im afraid of it getting worse… Shane begins to explain.

I dont think that avoiding her is going to make this any better. I think she wants to talk to you, shes standing over there looking at us. So go and talk to her, Ill see you later. After Tina leaves, Shane turns and waves at Alice, Alice in returns smiles at Shane, and they begin walking towards each other.

Hey. Shane begins nervously

Hi Alice says just as nervous.

Listen Al, about before..

Yes, about that… This, its very surprising, I wasnt expecting it at all, and I dont know exactly how I should be dealing with this, I do know that I need some time, a few days maybe. Alice tries to explain herself.

Sure thats, its totally cool…can I ask you one thing though?… Do you feel anything for me… in that way?

Shane, you are like my best friend, and I really dont know, thats why I need the few days. Ill call you after the few days, okay?

Okay. Bye. Shane watches as Alice walks out of the house. Then walks up to Bette, Tina and the rest of their friends.

Guys, Im gonna head home.

What, your leaving? Its only like… 10:00. Protests Dana.

I know, I have to go though, Ill see you all around.

After the get together, at Bette and Tinas.

So, Shane left early… and what ever happened to Alice? Bette asks Tina as they are tidying up the house.

They talked, and Im not sure if it went too well.

Oh.. OH… So, Shane likes Alice?

Yes, Shane told Alice, and then I don’t know what happened, Shane was really worried before, I havent seen her like that before, she was trying to keep her cool, but you could totally tell that she is worried.

Baby, I think that they will be fine, probably not right away, but eventually. And who knows, maybe Alice feels the same way.

That would be so nice, for Shane to have a real relationship with some, you know.. more then just…

I know. Come on lets go to bed.

Two days later at The Planet everyone except Alice are sitting are sitting around chatting. Tina pulls shane aside to speak to her about Alice.

So, what did Alice have to say?

She said she needs a few days, and shell call me after, because she doesnt know how to deal with what I told her.

Oh, Shane Im sorry.

Yeah, well I asked her if she likes me, she said she really doesnt know.. So that can be a good thing, right?

Yes, it can be a good thing. Listen, if you need to talk or anything, Im here, so is Bette, dont be mad, but I told her.

I figured you would, and thanks. I better get going.. work. Shane hugs Tina before exiting The Planet. As she is leaving she runs into Alice.
