Bette looked at Tina terrified. What could she possibly want to tell me? So she sat up on the edge of the bed and waited for Tina to continue.

Tina: Well first I want you to know that I love you no matter what happens between us.

Bettes whole body shivers and this comment.

Tina: But really Bette, we cant just come back here, make love, and expect for everything to be okay. Its not just your fault. But you completely tore my life apart. Everything I knew, or at least I thought I knew, is gone.

Bette: I understand, and Im so sorry Tina, but-

Tina: No Bette let me finish. I think we really need to take sometime apart. See what we want, I mean what we really want. Not just what we think we wanted seven years ago. This is about you and me right now. And how we feel about each other. Of course we still love each otherbut is it the same kind of love of seven years ago? And Im not going to lie, but I think it might not be. I know that at some point in the last year of our relationship, you have second-guessed your love for me. I mean thats how the whole thing started isnt it?

Bette just stared at Tina in disbelief.

Bette: No Tina. I have always loved you, without question.

Bette knew that was a lie. But she would do anything to get Tina back right now.

Tina: (tilting her head) Bette

Bette: But then I knew right away I was wrong. And you will too sweetie, I promise.

Tina: I love you Bette, I know that. I want you in my life, I know that too. But what I dont know is what way I love you and what way I want you in my life. I know that probably doesnt make any sense and you dont understand but-

Bette: I understandI understand too much unfortunately.

Tina: I need sometime away from you to figure out what I want. And so do you.

Bette: (with a tear strolling down her cheek) Are you sure?

Tina: Yes, Ill call you sometime next week okay?

Bette: Okay, Ill be waiting. I love youjust like I did seven years ago.

Bette left the room and grabbed her stuff. She kissed everyone good-bye and went home.

Tina walked out of the room not knowing what just happened. But for some reason, she was never more sure of something in her life. Especially after that kiss with Michelle. She went to go watch T.V with the rest of the gang.

Shane: You all right T?

Tina: Yeah, Im fine. You know what, I will be fine as soon as I make this phone call.

Tina walker over to the phone in the kitchen. And to her surprise she picked up the phone and dialed the number without hesitation. Almost as if thats what she was suppose to do. She heard the phone pick up on the other line

Michelle: Hello?
