Alice waited and waited, Tina was not answering her cell. It was already dark outside and Alice was getting really worried. She didnt know what to do, so she called Dana.

Waiting for her she sat on the bed. Bettes envelope with her name on it was looking at her, waiting.

Alice didnt know why but there was something in that envelope that was scaring her. She wanted to see what it was inside but she was not sure she was ready for it. Then, just from nowhere the door bell shattered her. She rushed to open it, finding the sweet Dana at the other side, smiling softly.

“Are you ok Al?”. what was in Danas words that always threw a shiver through Alices body?. It was always the sweetest touch.

Alice didnt know what to say, it was getting annoying to feel speechless but that was she was. Nodding she encouraged Dana in, walking her to her bedroom.

I dont know where Tina is. She opened Bettes envelope and now is gone. I dont know what it was there but this is for me

Alice was showing Dana the envelope. Dana looking at Alice asked, almost whispering,

“Arent you going to open it?
With that simple question Dana gave Alice the reason to do what she had to do. Seating down just at her friend side she opened the envelope carefully.

There was a smaller one, and a sheet of paper. Alice before reading it, showed them to Dana, who nodding was encouraging her to go on.

I guess you know now… Dont get mad at me, am not going nuts, for once, I know what am doing. CAC gave me what I asked, Id have done it without their support but am glad they left me go for two months. I guess Provocations success is paying its debts now. But dont worry I wont be gone that long. If Tina hasnt explain all this to you, wait, she will. Alice quiet tears were scaring Dana who not knowing what to do moved closer and caressing Alices arm whispered, almost touching her.

Al.. Al look at me

Alice tuned her face to look at Dana, but their faces were so close that their lips touched lightly.

Alice leaned back from the touch, scared to cross the line again, she was not ready for another rejection, needed Dana now and could not think of loosing her. But then Dana, seeing fear in Alices eyes, seeing sadness as ever before, leaning into her and very slowly put her soft lips on hers. She left them there, resting, trying to comfort Alice, feeling the salty tears dying on them.
Moving her hands up, placing them on Alices neck, Dana put her closer and finally let her lips show all the love she was not ready to share yet but that was crying to be brought up.
Danas lips erased all Alices fears putting everything in its place. As much as Alice wanted to get lost in Danas kiss the knowledge that Tina was missing was clearly knocking on her conscience. Breaking the kiss, sighing deeply, smiling shyly looking at Dana she said,

“We have to find Tina, I dont know what the ***** is going on, look

As Dana read Bettes note Alice was pacing the room, trying to think, still feeling Alices lips on hers, burning her memory with desire and love.

We should check their place Danas words were like rain in the desert, so right, so clever. She was smiling at Alice, tasting, enjoying Bettes words.

You are a genius Dane” Placing a sweet kiss on Danas cheek Alice took her hand rushing to the door, getting her car keys on its way.

We should call Shane too Al Alice was turning the engine on but stopped the moment Dana finished talking.

God Dee, since when you are so smart? Alice playful teasing tone didnt hide the praise, the pride, the joy she was feeling.


By the time they arrived at Bette and Tinas place Shane was already there, waiting on the entrance steps, smoking.

“So now what?” Dana asked, smiling at Shane, happy to see her.

“Now we walk in, find Tina and wait to see what we can do for her Shane said, walking towards the door.

Alice and Dana stood behind, looking at each other, Shane words sinking in their minds Yodaso right

So Al, you brought the keys or do we have to knock the door down? Shane asked, looking behind, waiting for her friends.

They entered finding the house in the dark. Shane walked in the first, being closely follow by Dana holding Alices hand. As they walked in, Alice started calling Tinas name finding no response. Shane walked in the hall, waving Dana to look in the bathroom and indicating Alice the bedroom, as she was walking in Tinas study. They all met in the hall, shaking her heads.

“Where do you think she could be?” Danas whisper made Shanes eyebrow rose.

Shane not waiting for an answer was already walking to the kitchen, just then, in the middle of the room she saw Tina through the back yard glass door. Stopping her pace, Shane rose her hand to stop her friends pace, making them bumped into her.

“What the ***** Shane? What are you doing?” Alices nerves were getting into her, worried as she was.

Shane, ignoring Alices words was nodding in Tinas direction, making her friends realize what was going on.

What do we do now? Dana was again whispering, looking at Tina who in the dark was lying on one of the chase lounge close to the pool-

Again, Shane just started walking slowly towards Tina. They reached her without wakening her. Looking at her sweet face they all felt an instant desire to touch her, to caress her soft skin, to show her all their love.

Dana seeig that her friends were unable to move leaned into Tina, softly caressing her bare arm. Kneeling down to her high she whispered,
“Tee babe, tee

Tina opened her eyes to find her concern friends looking at her.

Oh, I guess I fall asleep
The three stooges just nodded, happy to see her friend ok.

“Tina are you ok?” Tina was nodding, tears starting to fill her eyes, trying not to look at her friends who were not crowding her, seated with her.

Shes gone Tinas words were barely a whisper.

Alice and Dana nodded, Alice taking Tinas hand in hers.

“But she is coming back Tee Shanes words, her seriousness, her firm tone made every one of them look at her, hoping.

Shane, looking just at Tina added,

“Wherever she is gone, will be good Tee, she needs to find something, she needs to find you

Tina nodding, feeling the warm fat tears running down her cheeks mumble,

But am here her words a prayer, a lost hope.

“Thats why she had to find you somewhere else

Dana and Alice were looking at them just feeling the words fill the air, fill Tinas heart, healing Tinas wounds.

“Why?” Dana could not stop the word escaping her lips.

Because Tina is here, where she belongs, where we all belong, is Bette the one who doesnt, not now. And she knows it. She needs to find Tina somewhere else to be able to come back here, with her.

Shanes words calmed Danas worries, caressed Tinas soul, killing Alices fears.

Silence took her time among them, relaxing her tired bodies.

Do they teach all that at hair school Shane? Maybe I should go you know Dana was trying to fill the emptiness, to brake the mood, with each words was showing Shane all her love and respect for her.

Tina and Alice chuckled, releasing all the stress they were hidden. Tina cleaned her cheeks, erasing the tears, loving feeling her friends company, standing up looked at her friends, asking,

“Hey girls, lets go to have a drink?”

“What? We cant do thatYOU cant do that!”

Alice could not believe Tinas words, in her tiredness she didnt see she was teasing them.

“Why? Why cant Tina drink?” Dana, clueless was looking back and forth from Shane to Alice and then to Tina.

“Wow Al, am impress Tina said, leaning, kissing Alice on the cheek.
“Thats from Bette, btw

“What? Why?, whats going?…why dont I know whats going on?”

The girls were already heading inside, being follow by an exasperated Dana.

“Go Al, tell her Tina was opening the fridge, looking for something to make dinner with.

Shane and Alice looked at Dana, who was looking at Tina.

Dane, Tee is pregnant Alices mouth was full of pride, of joy, of happiness. Words escaped her lips in a hurry, throwing themselves outside, wanted to be heard.

“What?” Dana asked, looking at her friends, shaking her head. The always nonchalant Shane was finally smiling broadly looking at her sweet astonish friend.

Tina, smiling shyly was looking at her, waitingand finally nodding.

“Oh my god! Oh my god! am so happy Tee Danas arms were all over Tina, hugging her tight, trying to stop the tears that were camping in her eyes.

Guys, guys are we all pmsing or what?…god! I need a drink! with that Shane walked to the bar in the living room, walking far from her friends, hiding a single tear that was caressing the smile growing on her face. Filling her heart with joy and hope, reassuring her wounded soul.
