Lara: Dana, What happened to you? Are you okay? Come here lay down on the couch.

Dana went to go sit by the couch. Shane sat down next to her on Dana’s right. Lara came around on the left and knelt down in front of her. She put her hand on Dana’s knee. Shane had expected her to not want her touching her but instead Dana pulled Lara into a hug. Shane and Alice exchange glances.

Lara pulls away holding Dana’s face in her hands.

Lara: Dana, what happened? Why are you here?

Dana: Its a long story of what happened but why we’re here is becasue I needed to get out of the city and Shane co-owns this place with you.

Lara: I have time for a long story. Tell me everything and don’t leave anything out, I’m always here for you I want you to know that.

Shane had, had enough. She couldn’t stand the way that Dana and Lara acted like they were a couple again. Dana looked at Alice a little conserned when Shane left the room.

Alice:*Mouthing* I’ll go check on her.


Outside Alice saw Shane next to a big tree that had a swing attached to it. Alice walked up to her making sure she wouldn’t scare her.

Alice: Shane whats going on?

Shane: I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Alice: You bring her up here thinking that she can get away from the bright lights and the horrible people of LA but then you see Lara and you get scared? Is that it?

Shane: Kinda.

Alice: And you brought Dana up here so you could seduce her?

Shane stood imedeatly, She was enraged.

Shane: No! I would never do that to her now. The state that she is in right now I don’t know if I could deal with that. She can barely deal with a little human contact. I just wanted to keep her safe. I wanted to be there for her like no one was for me. I had no one when I was raped. I haven’t even dealt with it. I have just put it off to the back of my mind.

Alice: Then deal with it, kick, scream, throw something, even talking about it would make you feel better I bet.

Shane: But thats the thing I can’t deal with it now cause Dana needs me. If I dealt with it now then Dana would think that I was being insenstive and not trying to help her but only myself.

Alice: You both need help. You should look into getting some help together. Going to a group, talking to a consuler, reporting Jo to the cops.

Shane: I’ll talk to her about it. Whatever I do choose to do about the Dana thing I just want us to be together at some point. She means a lot to me. I’m not only helping her but she’s helping me to. I don’t know how to explain it but she is.

Alice: I think I get it.

They embrace and start walking back towards the camp. When they walked inside they saw that Dana had fallen asleep on the couch. The only thing was that she wasn’t alone. Lara was laying beside her with her arm wrapped around Dana’s waist.

Alice: Saw this and turned as Shane was running out the door. The only thing that Alice heard was Shane crying.
