Alexis quickly turned in her chair, she couldnt believe what she saw, how could I not have noticed them when I came in? she thought to herself.

Taylor noticed that Alexis had turned what was like 15 shades of red in a matter of seconds and became worried.

Taylor: Sweety, whats wrong?

Just as Alexis was about to answer, she felt this sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach and wondered, Oh GOD, did they hear what I said?

Taylor: Alexis? Hello? Whats wrong?

Alexis leaned into the table to whisper, still trying to hide her embarrassment and pointed behind her.

Alexis: Can you see where Dana is sitting?

Taylor leaned a little to the left to see past Alexis and answered yes

Alexis: You see the three women shes sitting with?

Taylor: Yes

Alexis: Thats Bette, Tina and Alice!
Taylor: Holy *****, sorry, I mean, holy *****! Do you think they heard you?

Alexis: I dont know, I really hope they didnt! I dont think I have ever been this embarrassed before in my life.

Taylor: Its not so bad, even if they did hear you, its not like you said anything awful about them, you said very nice things about each of them.

Alexis: I know, but thats not what I worried about, its what I said about Dana, what if they tell her?

Taylor: Oh yeah, that would suck

Alexis: Thanks

Taylor: Well what do you want me to say?

Alexis: I dont know, Im just embarrassed, Im such and idiot. Oh look, Shanes here.

Meanwhile…
Dana sat down with her friend and gave her usual hello.

Dana: Hi guys

Group: Hey Dana

Tina: Wow Dane, you look really nice! Did you dress like that for Alexis?

Dana: Yes and no, I wanted to look good, but my agent called me this morning, my photo shoot has been moved up to today, so I put on what I will take the pictures in. You know Im really nervous about it.

Alice: Youll do fine, by the way I noticed you said hi to Alexis, how many words did you say to her today?

Dana: ***** you Al! but it was more than two just for your information!

Alice: Chill out Dane, we heard you anyways so dont be so touchy.

How come you didnt sit with her and her friend? Bette asked with a huge grin on her face.

Dana: I dont know, I didnt want to seem pushy you know. Anyways, Im not sure if shes interested.

Alice, have decided that she would wait to tell Dana about the tape just responded, youd be surprised Dane, very surprised

Tina and Bette knew that Alice had a plan so didnt bring up the tape either, they just looked at each other and back at Dana. Tina had noticed that the last member of the group had entered the caf and said with a little smile, Look, Shanes here

As Shane entered the Planet she waved to her friends but sat down at Alexis table. When she did that, it briefly distracted Alexis from the situation she found her self in.

Shane: Hey cutie

Alexis: Hey yourself. Shane I wanted you to meet someone, this is Taylor, shes a good friend of mine from work.

Taylor: Its a pleasure to meet you Shane

Before the words were out of her mouth Shane had reached across the table to shake her hand. The pleasures all mine.

God does she ever give that charm of hers a rest Alexis thought with a smile.

With the introduction out of the way the trio made small talk for about 15 minuets when Taylor looked down at her watch and explained, Sorry you two but I have to get going. Im meeting a client in a half an hour. Shane it was very nice meeting you, Alexis are you still coming with us tonight?

Alexis: Yea, absolutely

Taylor: Ok, bye

Alexis & Shane: Bye

Shane: Since its just the two of us, do you mind if we go sit with everyone?, its kind of our morning thing.

When Shane reminded that her friends were there, it made that sick feeling come back to Alexis stomach, thankfully she too a meeting. Im sorry Shane, but Ive got a photo shoot in about an hour with some tennis player and I havent even met the person yet so Im going to have to go soon, but I wanted to ask you something.

Shane: Sure, go ahead

In a very soft voice Alexis asked, Is your friend Dana seeing anyone right now?

Shane: Ha, I knew you liked her

Alexis: Shhhhh, shes right behind us she can hear you, but yes I like her. So is she single?

Shane: Yea she is.

Alexis: Good, thats all I wanted to know. Look I really have to go but call me later ok, anytime after 2:00, I should be done by then ok?

Shane: Sure, no doubt

As Alexis exited the Planet Shane joined her table of friends.

Shane: Morning everyone

Dana: Where was Alexis going?,

Oh she had a meeting or something with some tennis player I dont know, why were you wondering? Shane asked with a evil grin

Dana: No reason, just asking

Shane: Sure

Well guys Ive got to go meet my agent and get ready for the shoot. Wish me luck. Dana said as she stood from the table.

Bette: Dane, youll be great, dont worry about it, and good luck.

Tina: Yea sweetie, youll be fine

Alice was lost in thought until Shane kicked her chair,
HEY!, oh sorry Dane, ***** luck.

Dana: Thanks guys, bye.

Once Dana was far away from the table to hear anything that was said, Alice looked at the group and said, Oh my god, do you realize what going on?
No one had any idea what Alice was talking about so they all just gave her a puzzeled look.

Alice: Dont you see, Dana is doing her photo shoot today

Shane: Yea, so, we just talked about it before she left

Alice: Right, but didnt you say yesterday that Alexis was a photographer?

Shane: She is, where are you going with this Al?

Bette: Holy ***** Alice, I think your right!

Tina: What the ***** are you two talking about?
Bette: Danas photo shoot is today and Alexis is a photographer and she had to leave to meet some tennis player. Dont you get it, Alexis is Danas photographer.

Shane: Holy *****, shes gonna in for one ***** of a suprise. I think Alexis likes Dana.

Alice: Ha! You dont know the half of it, and were all pretty sure that she more than likes her.
