You break it, you replace it – Chapter 14
Having helped Tina out of the car and into the house, they now stood in their bedroom. Bette’s only aim was to get Tina out of her clothes and into bed with as little fuss as possible. She was in no mood and Tina was in no shape for them to be discussing Candace tonight.
“Hold on to my neck” Bette instructed, they were the first words between them since leaving The Planet. Tina complied, which enabled Bette to reach down and undo the button of Tina’s jeans, then the zipper before she lowers them gently off her girlfriend’s hips. Bette crouched to push the jeans all the way to Tina’s ankles so the blonde could step out of them. As Tina stepped out of her jeans she found Bette on her knees directly in front of her, out of habit her hands moved into Bette’s hair as the hint of a smile crept across Tina’s features.
“While you’re down there” Tina said nonchalantly, as she tried to mask a smile.
“You can’t be serious?!” Bette was more than a little turned on despite her surprise at Tina’s request. She glanced up and saw that familiar look that said ‘don’t make me ask again’
“You’re drunk” Bette stated as she fought her rising desire.
“What’s your point?”
Bette leaned forward and rested her forehead on Tina’s thigh, sighing loudly. It would be so easy to comply. She had been fighting her desires for so long, trying to do the right thing. Tina’s nails grazed across her scalp which only served to intensify her desire. To ***** with what was right. Bette kissed the leg in front of her before looking up at the woman she loved. Gazing into those eyes Bette knew what she had to do.
“It’s not going to be like this” Bette whispered as she stood and took a step back.
“What is it going to be like?” Tina’s voice was raised, her cheeks burnt with the humiliation of rejection.
“Just not like this Tina, it’s the alcohol. If you were sober you wouldn’t want it to be like…”
“Don’t tell me what I want!”
“Fine, I don’t want to make love to you like this” Bette raised her voice to match Tina’s.

I am so relieved that Bette told Tina no. I am also glad that Bette now realizes how Tina feels with no advances made from Bette. Prehaps now each are aware of how each feels and can now open up to each other. With out communication, there is no way of knowing how each is feeling and knowing where they are going.Next chapter please.
Excellent chapter…It’s amazing how us humans get signals mixed up, we think something and then we act another way!
You have written this beautifully, I hope Bette and Tina talk about it and then Bette giving Tina a little hope with a kiss.
Thank you so much for your efforts.
keep the chapters comming, like my name says Imlovinit!
Good introspective chapter. Miscommunication and not being aware of your actions are some of the common factors that lead to drama. I love exploring it through your writings. Well done and thanks for your time and energy.. not to forget creativity and imagination! Good job.
People always seemed to forget what it would be like if the tables were turned. I’m glad to showed that.
This is one of my absolute favorites. The realism here is astounding. You can’t post fast enough for me. Thanks
Excellent. Please continue soon.
