    Im gonna go sit over there Bette said quietly.

    Is okay? Bette asked unsure

    Is it? Tina retorted back You havent said a word all day till just now

    Well Jessie is been too busy to pay me any attention

    Tina nodded absently. They remain quiet for a while quietly sipping their drinks

    How are you Tina, what is of your life these days? Bette ask unable to hold herself

    Tinas head jump up, for a moment there she wasnt sure if she had imagined the question, Bette saw her apprehension

    Is okay if you dont want to talk to me, really

    No Bette, why wouldnt I? Tina immediately saw the expression that cross Bette face and she curse herself, Sorry.. I… what I meant to say … she stopped her rambling and took a deep breath to calm herself. am fine, I work at Paramount for three years now, am the head of a small special development department, and is hectic, but being the boss I get to lay a lot of the work on other people so I have time and energy to be Katies Mom She is a handful she add in an after thought.

    That was not what Tina was asking and Both of them knew it. But that answer would have to do for now cause their drinks were over and the zoo visit was coming to an end.

    1. You have me screaming over this story, Bette wwont talk,Tina trys,Thank goodness the girls are great. Dreaming.Candance died in a car wreck,Bette was hurt badly. She ended up with jesse because she had adopted her. Both are now single Thank you.

      Oh Tee, no offense, I just put all my comments in this chapter. Your other chapter is as good btw. I love your build up, you’re not in a rush to give it away. Liked your different approach.

      Well, what can I say, it’s vancouver. One day is bleak, rainy and gloomy (not that I hate rain, hate it only if I have too many stuff in my hand) and another is sunny. But today was ony 10 degrees Celcius. And I’m Chinese-Indonesian in case you’re curious. Nice to get to know the others on the board. And no… you’re English is perfectly fine! No worries, I even thought that you’re a native English speaker!

    3. I hate the idea that Bette stayed with Candace and had a kid…can Bette and Tina just talk to each other like adults and get with it…you include such angst and intensity in your writing…excellent job!!!
