GoodI was just calling to see if you were going to make it home for dinner?

Bette sighed loudly as she leaned back in her chair. She had been working hard on a show she was putting on at her gallery and she had yet to make it home for dinner this week. Her and Tina had been living together for about ten days and with the exception of moving day, Bette had seen very little of Tina. At first Tina was okay with it, she knew how hard Bette worked and how important her gallery was to herbut if things were going to always be like this she had a feeling she was going to get tired of it pretty quickly. Bette rubbed her temple a little with her right hand while she gripped the phone with the left.

I am going to try babyJonathan and I are almost done with the details for the show next week but we have a few last minute details to work out

Bette sighed again and clinched her jaw in anger. She knew how much Tina wanted to spend time with her, and she wanted to spend with her as well. Its just that right now Bettes gallery was taking all of her time and attention, but she knew she was going to have to make it up to Tina. She looked at her schedule and tried to figure something out.

Well maybe I can be home by seven?

Forget it Bettejust.(sigh)just get home whenever you can okay?

Tina.what do you want me to do? Just forget out this show that Ive been working on for the past month?

No Bette, but I want to feel like I have a girlfriend instead of a roommate who I happen to share a bed with

I knowI knowlook I have to finish up some things here so I can get home okay?

It took all of Bettes will power not to slam the phone down. She loved Tina with all of her heart, but sometimes Tina got on her nerves. Bette looked down at the stack of work in front of her and just rolled her eyes. With any luck she would be out of there by seven, but by the way Tina sounded when they hung up, Bette didnt know if she should rush out the door.

At about six thirty Bette was sitting at her desk staring blankly at the pile of work that had not moved since she last talked to Tina. What the ***** does she expect me to do? She knows how much stress I am underdamnmaybe I should just get out of here Bette looked at her watch then back at the pile of work on her desk.

She gathered up her things and headed home having no idea what kind of mood she was going to find her girlfriend in when she got there. The lights were off as Bette pulled up to the house and she didnt take that as a good sign. She quietly opened the door and walked into the house setting the dozen long stem roses she had picked up for Tina down on the kitchen table.

Bette saw the place settings and unlit candles that Tina had set out for them. Tina hadnt had much time to cook this past week and Bette felt guilty for bailing on Tinas first attempt to cook for them in their new home. She put her bag down next to the table and went in search of Tina hoping to amend whatever wrong Tina felt she had done.

Tina?

Bette looked in the living room and in the backyard but didnt see any signs of Tina so she went to the bedroom. She quietly pushed open the door and saw Tina sleeping on the bed with her back to the door. Tina was wearing a tank top and panties and nothing else. Bette felt terrible for pissing Tina off and she was determined to make it up to Tina. Bette went back to the living room and picked one of the long stem roses up of the table and went back to the bedroom. She stripped down to her underwear and carefully climbed into bed being extra cautious not to wake Tina. She lightly ran the rose down Tinas spine causing Tina to shift in her sleep a little but not wake up. Bette giggled to herself as Tinas facial expression had changed from scrunched eyebrows to a relaxed look of contentment. Bette kissed Tinas shoulder softly as she lightly ran her fingers down the same trail the rose had taken seconds ago.

Tina shifted again this time rolling over on her back and turned her face towards Bette. Bette studied Tinas face and felt a wave of happiness wash over her. She loved to watch Tina sleep. Bette loved how peaceful Tina looked when she was sleeping. She had these cute little facial expressions that always made Bette smile when she saw them. Bette lightly ran her fingertips over Tinas jaw and across her lips causing Tina to involuntarily open her mouth a little. Bette leaned in and kissed Tina softly on the lips as her hand ran down Tinas side and slowly up her tank top. Tina smiled slightly as she began to wake up to the feel of Bettes lips on hers. Bette felt Tina wake up and she pulled back slightly to see if it was okay.

She was cut off by Tina gently pulling her back down and into a kiss so passionate it made Bettes breath catch in her throat. Bette let Tina part her lips with her tongue as she gently ran her fingertips over Tinas chest. Tina let her tongue massage Bettes as Bettes hands worked on her ***** gently alternating between massaging and pinching the nipple lightly. Tina moaned softly as Bette kissed her way down Tinas neck stopping only to nip and suck lightly at the extra sensitive area right below her ear. Tina ran her hands down Bettes toned back and soon Bettes patience was wearing thin as she somewhat forcefully pulled Tinas tank top up and over her head. Bette stared down at Tina with love in her eyes and she saw the same love reflected back at her mixed with forgiveness and desire. Bette opened her mouth to speak but Tina put her hand up silencing Bette. Bette let Tinas hand rest on her lips for a few seconds before opening her mouth and lightly sucking on Tinas fingers one by one. She watched Tinas eyes grow wide and she smiled when she saw the raw desire make its way to the surface. Bette bent down and kissed a trail slowly down Tinas chest while using her hands to pull Tinas underwear down. Tina kicked them off quickly and soon Bette was face to face with Tinas womanhood, which was dripping with anticipation. Bette licked her lips and was about to devour her lover when suddenly Tina pulled her gently back up so they were face to face. Bette gazed into Tinas eyes as she slowly ran a finger up the inside of Tinas thigh creeping closer and closer to where Tina needed her most. Bette entered her with two fingers and slowly began to stroke a rhythm that had Tinas hips moving in time impatiently trying to satisfy her need that had been building since they moved in together.

Tina groaned into Bettes ear as she gripped Bette tightly with one arm and one thigh. Bette got the hint and started putting more pressure as she curled her fingers slightly trying to hit Tina in the spot that would make her shiver with ecstasy.

She smiled down at Tina and used her other hand to wipe away the sweat drenched hair that was sticking to Tinas cheek. She lightly ran the back of her hand along Tinas cheek as she leaned in for a soft kiss.

Tina just smiled up at Bette with an adoring smile and Bette sighed happily. She hoped that Tina had truly forgiven her for being such an ***** today and she wanted her to know how sorry she was and how much she wished she could make things easier for them, make more time to spend together so they could really start their life together. But that would all have to wait. For now, all that mattered was the love felt between two hearts that were exposed and vulnerable and most importantly, beating in sync.
