Chapter 124

It was just after 9:00pm when Amanda came over to Casa Porter -Kennard to visit. Bette and Tina were so worn out from their little marathon that they had already gone to bed. Jackie invited Amanda in for a drink.

They sat at the kitchen table talking about whatever came to mind.

“So how do you think Bette is going to handle labor and delivery?” Amanda raised her eyebrow as she asked the question.

“I don’t know…but Tina was no prize. It will be interesting to watch the two of them again – with Tina being the supportive one and Bette being the one dishing it out. Bette was so good with Tina….so present…and she’s been there for her and the babies ever since. She really is amazing.” Jackie smiled at Amanda.

“I hear Bette IS amazing…. quite skilled…ummmmm…in many areas….”

“What do you mean?” Jackie looked at Amanda. “OH GOD! You mean THOSE skills. I need another beer – you want one?”

“Sure …I’m game…let’s have another.” Amanda was even more interested in the things she’d heard about Bette now that she’d gotten this reaction from Jackie.

“Bette is quite a talented and beautiful young woman….she and Tina are so beautiful together.” Jackie chugged down half of her beer.

“Yes they are a beautiful couple…and they do have a beautiful family.” Amanda winked at Jackie. Amanda finished off her beer.

“Do you always drink like that?” Jackie said as she smiled at Amanda.

“No…ummm…gee Jackie…they seem to be going down really easily….”

Jackie downed the rest of her beer. “Yes they certainly do…don’t they?”

“Yup..sure do…how about another?” Amanda handed Jackie her empty bottle.

Jackie got up and got two more bottles of beer. She sat back down next to Amanda. “Here ya go! This is the best beer I’ve ever had….”

“Yeah..it is awfully good…I’m feeling really good too.”

“Yeah – me too. It’s going right to my head.” Jackie giggled.

“Yeah…hmmmm…I’m feeling very little pain….this is great!” Amanda laughed.

“So Amanda…how come you mentioned Bette’s skills?”

“No reason….”

“Liar….Want another beer?”

“Sure…what the *****…why not…I can always crawl home!”

“Sure can…good thing you live next door…”

“Yeah good thing!”

“Ok – spill it…how come you mentioned Bette’s skills?” Jackie was feeling a little light headed at this point. She didn’t really care what they talked about at this point.

“Well…I’ve known Bette and Tina long enough to know that they have a….*****…it’s none of my business.”

“Come on Amanda…what? What do they have?”

“I can’t believe I’m actually talking to you about this….you’re Tina’s mom for God’s sake.”

“Come on..spit it out…or do you need another beer?”

“Another beer would be great Jackie…yeah another beer…that’s what I need. Is it hot in here or is it me?”

“It’s HOT in here. Maybe it’s all the beer.” Jackie smiled at Amanda.

“Or the company…*****…did I say that? *****.”

“So …back to my Sunshine.”

“Back to Sunshine…ok…back to Sunshine…..what were we talking about?”

“Amanda…you were just about to ask me about their ***** life…weren’t you?”

“Well….no….no…well ….yeah…”

“What about it?” Jackie couldn’t help but smile at Amanda.

“Ummmm…well…they really seem to be very much in love.”

“Yes they are.”

“And they can’t seem to get enough of each other.”

“You can say that again.”

“And they can’t seem to get enough of each other.”

“Don’t be an ***** Amanda.”

“Sorry…I live with an eight year old with a smart mouth.”

“Yes…how is the little angel anyway?”

“Mary Grace? She’s fine. She’s a piece of work…too smart for her own good!”

“Yeah she is bright.”

Amanda smiled. “Yes she is.”

“Ok…back to the issue at hand Amanda. So yeah – Bette and Tina are very much in love. So?”

“Well…I know they have alot of ***** friends.”

“Yup…they do…great group of girls.”

“That Alice is a pisser!”

“That she is!”

“Anyway…so I was just curious….”

“Curious about what Amanda?”

“Everytime I talk to Alice…she mentions Bette’s SKILLS.”

“OH…..UMMMM…Bette’s skills…well…oh ***** Amanda…do you know how many times I’ve seen Bette and Tina DOING IT?”

“How many?”

“ALOT! They’re amazing!”

“That’s what I hear….well that Bette is amazing.”

“Skilled!” Jackie grinned as she spoke the word!

“So – I was wondering…oh God…what’s the big hub bub here with all of this girl on girl action lately? Not just Bette and Tina…all of them…it’s everywhere….I’m beginning to think heteros are in the minority. Lesbians seem to be everywhere. I’m just curious….”

“Want another beer?”

“Yes…please…..more beer!” Amanda caught her breath.

Jackie handed Amanda another beer. “Go on…you’re just curious about….?”

“What it’s like to be with a woman….that’s all….I wonder what it feels like.”

“From what I’ve seen…and I’ve seen alot…it’s…very…ummmm….hmmmm….nice.”

“Nice? What the ***** does that mean?”

“Ummmmm…warm…tender…beautiful…at least that’s how it looks.”

“So Jackie you’ve never done it either?”

“Nope.”

“Ever been curious?”

“Well…after seeing them..it feels like there is something very…special about it…It’s different…..just different…yeah sometimes I wonder what it would feel like.”

Amanda looked at Jackie. “Different? How? How is it different?”

“It’s just…softer…seems more giving…gentle. It’s just….beautiful is the only word I can think of to describe it.”

“Softer huh?” Amanda sat thinking for a moment. Alcohol coursing through her system. “Softer?”

“Yeah…softer….”

“Softer…like this?” Amanda leaned toward Jackie and kissed her.

Jackie didn’t pull away. “Ummm…yeah …softer.” Jackie kissed Amanda. “Just like that…”

Amanda kissed Jackie again…this time interjecting some tongue action. “Much softer…just …like that.”

Jackie looked into Amanda’s eyes. “What are we doing?”

“I’m not sure…but I like it….”

“Yeah…it’s nice..” Jackie smiled. “Ummmmm….so this is just curiosity right?”

“Yup! Just curiosity….it means nothing.”

The beer appeared to be talking for both of them.

Jackie stood up and grabbed Amanda’s hand. “Just curiosity right?”

“Yup…why?”

“Come with me…” Jackie pulled Amanda into her bedroom and closed the door behind them.
