Summary of the previous chapter: The gang waits at the house as Bette and Tina return from their outing. Jenny seems psycho. They are sitting in Bette and Tinas living room when Dana announces that Alice kissed her.

Dana Alice yells.
What? Shane asks wishing they had informed her about this part of the plan.
Tina looks at Dana and Alice wearing an expression of shock while Bette gives a smile before taking a drink from her beer bottle.
She did. In the middle of the night. After Provocations.
Before conversation can continue, they are interrupted by a knock at the door.
Bette gets up and opens the door to find Tonya.
Tonya. Can I help you? Bette asks.
Before anything further can be said, Tonya invites herself into the house.
There you are my sweetie plum. I was worried. You said you had to take care of a problem with Bette and Tina and I havent heard from you in sooooo long. Is everything okay, pookums?
Bette takes control to protect Alice and Dana. Yes, Tonya. Everything is fine. Tina and I just needed some help with some rearranging.
You left me for that? Why couldnt you have been honest my boo-boo berry? Tonya appears ready to lapse into melodrama tears at any second.
Thats my fault. Bette takes control again. Tina hurt her back and Im afraid I blew it a bit out of proportion.
Bette looks at Tina who grabs her back and adopts a look of pain.
But my woopy loopy is okay, right? Tonya asks.
Im fine. Dana assures her.
You were so mean to me when you rushed out the door.
Despite the fact that her wife found her in bed with another woman and is acting as if nothing happened, Tina feels that her emotional angst is nothing compared to the pain she will feel if she has to continue listening to Tonya. Uh, guys werent we gonna turn up the stereo loud and try to annoy Jenny?
Uh, yeah. Alice pops up to agree.
Tina reaches over and turns up the volume of the stereo to drown out the sound of Tonya.
From the stereo, which unfortunately had landed on an 80s station comes the sound of Atlantic Starr: Secret lovers, yeah thats what we are / trying so hard to hide the way we feel / cause we both belong to someone else / but we cant let go / cause what we feel, is all so real
I think we need something with more beat. Shane yells to try to save the moment. She neednt have bothered as Tina is already desperately searching for another station.
When they turn around, Bette is gone from the room.
