Tina got up and stood behind Bette.

“Eric, how the ***** did you get in here?”

“I met Alice and borrowed her key”

“Does she know?”

“Not exactly. So it’s true then?” Eric stared at Tina.

“What’s true?” Tina stepped in front of Bette.

“The whole marriage, honeymoon thing” Eric’s eyes narrowed.

“Yes, Bette and I are married” Tina reached behind her and squeezed Bette’s hand.

“This is a farse” Eric turned to Bette “you do know that, don’t you?”

“You know nothing” Bette said calmly.

“Eric, what’s this about?” Tina diverted his attention away from Bette.

“Tina, you are not a *****”

“I think maybe I should be the one to decide that, don’t you?”

“You like men too much”

“Things change, Eric”

“You can’t live without *****. Admit it, you want a real *****. Not whatever it is you ladies pretend to do in the bedroom”

“Don’t be so disgusting” Bette stepped level with Tina.

“You know what is disgusting” Eric moved towards Bette “you seducing this poor women then manipulating her into thinking you love her”

“That wasn’t how it happened” Tina protested.

“I do love her” Bette said softly, clutching Tina’s hand.

“You know you can’t give her everything she wants. When she sucked my *****, she was so turned on she almost came there and then. Does that happen with you?” Eric didn’t give Bette time to respond “and when I had her bent over doggy style taking her from behind. Does she like it that way with you? “No, I don’t want her to hear your filthy *****. Come through hear and we can talk” Tina walked towards the bathroom.

“T, it’s okay…” Bette started.

“Baby, you don’t have to listen to this. Believe me, it won’t take long. I just need to hear what he has to see then he’ll leave” Tina kissed Bette on the lips, then led Eric through to the bathroom.

In the living room Bette was pacing up and down. Eric’s comments were running through her head. Was some of what he’d said true? Did Tina want more than she could give? Could Tina live without ever sleeping with a man again? Somehow in their romance she’d forgotten how Tina had used to be with men. She could never imagine wanting a man, so had no idea what it was like for Tina. She couldn’t face rejection, so she took a leaf out of Tina’s book.
