What the Heart Wants-3
Sorry about the last chapter being so short. Ill try to make them longer, but my life is a bit busy. A note about Shane getting fired, my friend actually got fired from her job for being *****. I might add a bit of my life into this story. Just a bit. Also, sorry if the grammar isnt too good. Im stuck writing this between work, school, and everything else, so its a bit rushed.

Shane didnt leave The Planet until very late at night. Her friends left one-by-one, each quietly saying their goodbyes to Shane. Quiet tears fell the whole time. Marina popped by once in a while, to ask if she was ok.
The ex-hairdresser had fallen asleep on the counter. It wasnt her plan to leave, but they had to close up. Slowly Shane drudged to her truck, and drove home. None of her room mates were home, so the place was quiet. Shane walked into the bathroom, looking at herself in the mirror. Her cheeks were stained with black eye-liner.
I look like *****. She spoke quietly, her voice hoarse. Sitting on the toilet, she started to think. What was she going to do? She lost her job, she has no money, and she couldnt stay in a relationship. Her life needed something, now. What was that thing? Water.
Shane walked into the kitchen, and grabbed a clean glass. She turned on the tap, and let the slightly discolored water pour into the clear glass. A small sip sent the cold liquid down her dry throat.
Around midnight, Shanes three room mates arrived at the place. The three walked past Shane, who was laying on the couch. One, a blonde, stood in front of Shane. Tomorrow, rents due, do you have the money? Shane closed her eyes, thinking. *****. She croaked, he voice still very dry. I dont have the money.
The blonde sat down in a chair. You didnt have the money last month, Shane. She commented. With a sigh, Shane sat up. Rubbing her temples, she replied. I thought I paid. With a shake of her head the blonde bit her lip. You know the rules. If you miss more than two payments, then we have to kick you out.
Woah, woah. I havent missed more than two? This is only my second. A brunette walked in from the other room, having obviously been listening in. You missed your second payment ever. We gave you this warning last month.
Shane had to hold back tears. Way too much ***** was happening to her today. Please, let me stay! I just lost my job. If I have to move out, then I have nothing. Just another month, I can get the money from my friends! A softer side to Shane was being revealed.
The tough Shane would have gone through this without begging, without crying. She couldnt help it, though. Her life had gone down the drain, and was now being chopped up by the disposal. The two room mates did feel bad for her, but its the rules, Shane. Everyone agreed on them when we moved in.
You have one week. Continued the other. It wont be the same without you. The blonde patted Shane on the knee, before walking in the other room. Shane stared at the blank wall silently. She stood up, and grabbed her keys. Not caring about how she looked, she walked down the street. She banged on Tina and Bettes door.
Tina came to the door, and noted Shanes appearance. Shane? Whats wrong? She pulled her friend in. Look, Tina, I need to borrow a couple hundred dollars. Shane said quietly. I dont Why? Tina asked nervously. Theyre going to kick me out. I need rent money. Shane was able to say, making sure that she collapse in a nervous wreck.
I dont have an extra few hundred dollars, Shane. Tina said. What am I gonna do!? Shane started crying again, and Tina gathered her in her arms. Its ok Youll figure something out.
Today was a day in Shanes history that would never be forgotten. Today was the day Shane lost everything.
