Staring Into the Mirror : Intro

    Intro

In the last series we left Shane and Andie being open about their date. They both had admitted that they were intensely attracted to each other. They also learned that they could trust one another during a few of their hardest times.

We also left Dana telling Alice that she was go to break things off with Tonya. Leaving Alice in a lurch and wondering if this meant that they might have chance to be together.

Bette and Tina were coping with life alone, but Tina was unable to let go of her anger and hurt. However, she decided it was time to learn how to be around Bette again.

This is where the new series begins. I will set things before posting the first chapter. Its two months later after left Andie and Shane. Shane is still working at Lather although she is an extremely sought after hair stylist. Because of her great luck in her career, Shane had moved out of her apartment and into her own place without the three room mates.

Andie had also moved into her own apartment at Kits complex, leaving Alices place. She still worked at the Planet and played with her band on Wednesdays. Andie and Zo also played live at Velvets twice a week. They would meet with the dancers once a week and figure out what music the girls would want to dance to that week. The Prozacs were making a name for them around L.A. They werent becoming big, but they were going in the right direction.

It took Alice a while to get used to being alone again. Her love chart on the internet was growing faster and bigger all the time. She still worked for the magazine, but due to her successful article about the Planet and The Prozacs, she had been offered a position at Rolling Stones magazine. Alice hadnt agreed on it yet. She was still thinking about it.

Dana had not left Tonya yet, but she knew that she only had a little time left before the wedding was completely planned. She thought of it constantly, but the words just couldnt come out. Dana continued to practice tennis and compete, but she was not having any luck when it came to winning. Alice and Dana made a deal with each other that they shouldnt be alone until Dana had told Tonya she didnt want to be with her. They made this deal because they just couldnt seem to keep their hands off of each other.

Tina kept herself busy and involved in her work with schools and charities. Bette and her were able to be in the same room for more than five minutes now. They were slowly becoming friends.

Bette has been having trouble at the CAC; she was currently looking at other galleries to be a part of. She still not use to being alone. Bette was happy that her friends didnt have to work out separate plans for Tina or herself anymore.

Jenny has stopped her novel on the manatees (thank god) and began to write about her many different lovers and her struggle with her sexuality. She was becoming more confident with her identity and ready to explore all that she can. She quit the grocery clerk job and is now a book editor.

The Planet had become and even more popular spot to be at after Alices article. Kit has stayed busy with the Planet and her singing.

This brings us to where the new series begins. The setting is L.A. of course, present day in the beginning of fall.
