    Soul Harvest: Chapter 59

Tina and Julie sat on the couch in their pajamas, sipping coffee and eating fruit and yogurt. It was a holiday, so Tina didnt have to work, and they had slept in late, exhausted from watching movies and drinking beer the night before. It reminded Tina of living back in Ohio at her parents. Tina and Julie used to watch movies together really late on the weekends while eating junk food. They used to have a love hate relationship. Growing up close in age was difficult at times, fighting over clothes and time spent in the bathroom before school, but for as much as they were at each others throats, their friendship grew. They didnt realize how close they were until they were apart. Being on opposite coasts made them appreciate what a good thing they had.

This fruit is so good! Julie said as she dove into a ripe mango.

I know. Another benefit of living out here.

Im jealous. Maybe I should move out here and leave the snow to the east coast once and for all.

Go for it. Id love it if you came out here. Maybe mom and dad would actually visit then. Tina rolled her eyes and tucked her feet underneath her.

Good old mom and dad… theyll come around sometime. Julie smiled. And as much as I would love to move here, theres something about the east that grabs hold of me. I dont think I could ever leave Boston. Its in my blood now.
    I miss you Jules.

Its hard being away but it makes me appreciate our visits all that much more. She gave Tina a half smile. And soon Ill have a sister in law. Weird.

I can hardly believe it myself. Did you ever think Id get married? Tina laughed.

No, I never thought youd find anyone that struck you. I was wrong. Who knew all it took was the right woman?

Tina laughed and took their dishes to the sink. And Bette of all women. She had quite a reputation before me, you know.

    Oh, really?

    Really.

    Howd you tame her?

    1. So I can’t help but think that if you keep topping yourself like this with every forthcoming chapter, how will I be able to comment in say, chapter 234?
There is nothing like reading your B&T…they’re better than how the show writes them.
