    Soul Harvest: Chapter 59

I didnt do anything. We just hung out and little by little I fell in love with her. I think she fell for me the minute she met me, honestly, or else she wouldve given up. I was a tough lady to break, but her patience and care made me face my own fears. And now here we are, ready to make the biggest commitment of our lives.

Wow. Im so excited for the wedding. Whens the big day?

I dont know. We havent even had time to talk about it yet. Hopefully sooner than later. I dont want some big overblown ceremony. Something simple and pretty would be nice.

Their conversation continued in light chatter and happy thoughts. They eventually dressed and headed out to a late afternoon coffee with Alice and Bette. They met before going to one of Danas games.

So, Julie are you totally excited your big sister is getting married? Alice asked.

Julie nodded and smiled. I cant believe it, but its great!

Bette and Tina glanced at each other across the table, smiling softly and Bette winked.

Hang out with them too much and youll get sick to your stomach, though. Alice said while motioning towards Bette and Tinas loving gaze. Julie giggled. Its too awfully cute.

I want to know when the big day is. Julie said.

Yeah, come on guys. Whats the plan? Alice asked.

Bette and Tina looked at each then at Alice and Julie and both shrugged.

Thank god you have someone to help you along. Alice sighed and put her hands in the air. Start with a date. She looked from Bette to Tina, eyebrows raised.

Well… a winter wedding would be nice. Tina started, hesitating.

    December? Bette asked.

Actually, lets do early January. Away from Christmas. Or November. Tina said.

November sounds good, like the second week, before Thanksgiving. Bette replied, looking at Tina who nodded in approval.

Ok, dates settled. Wedding party? Alice asked, jotting things down in a notebook.

Whered you get that? Julie asked.

    1. So I can’t help but think that if you keep topping yourself like this with every forthcoming chapter, how will I be able to comment in say, chapter 234?
There is nothing like reading your B&T…they’re better than how the show writes them.
