    Bette hung her head low and walked back into Lather. She cold hear the young guy asking the receptionist where Shane was. Bette walked over to Shane, who was leaning against the shampoo sinks.

    Shane: Okay Stevie, just make sure you always use this shampoo after coloring…and you absolutely have to use this one after a perm. Its a deactivating shampoo, so it stops the chemicals from working….I think its this one?

    Stevie: What happens if you use the wrong one?

    Shane: The chemicals keep trying to curl or straighten and the hair falls out.

    Stevies face went pale. She slowly took the bottle from Shane, which looked exactly the same as the one in her own hand.

    Stevie: Uhm…Ill just go double check with Dylan to make sure.

    Bette: Shane?

    Shane: Yeah Bee?…Hey youre back, how was The Padre?

    Bette: Shane I only walked out the door like a minute ago.

    Shane: Oh…but it was a forever…
