    Waking up…

    October hit fast and soon the month was almost over. As Tina looked back on the summer, she couldnt figure out where the time went. Her visit with Julie was fun and good for the heart, and Dana was turning out to be a very good friend to not only her, but also Alice and Bette. And now, it was another Sunday morning, laying in bed with her wife to be. The sunlight peeked through the blinds, casting an orange glow across the room. Tina didnt move, but was wide awake, her brown eyes studying Bettes sleeping demeanor. A sudden ray of sunlight shot out of the side of the curtain, illuminating a line down Bettes naked body. She shifted a little, but never woke. A dribble of drool fell onto the pillow and Tina knew only true love could find that cute.

    It was an exciting time in their lives with the big day quickly approaching. Each afternoon brought more rsvps with the mail. Things were all planned and ready. Now it was time to wait, which ultimately drove both of them crazy. They were becoming more and more nervous, but the excitement and giddiness outweighed everything else.

    Bette slowly opened her eyes. T?

    Morning baby. Tina smiled and poked Bette on the nose with her finger.

    What are you doing?

    Just laying here watching you sleep.

    Bette yawned and rubbed her sleepy eyes. For how long?

    Long enough to realize you are the cutest thing Ive ever seen. Tina kissed her.

    You obviously havent looked in a mirror lately. They leaned towards each other and starting a long kiss when the phone rang.

    Let the machine get it. Bette mumbled as Tina pulled away.

    I think I should get it. Tina said, walking naked through her apartment. Bette couldnt take her eyes off her.

    When Tina came back in the room, she sat down on the bed smiling.

    Who was it?

    Alice. She was with Dana and they wanted to know if we wanted to grab a late brunch down at the coffee shop.

    Well, what did you tell them? That Sundays are our mornings for breakfast and *****? Bette hit Tina with a wicked smile.
