ONE WEEK LATER:
“That is the best news I have heard all week, thank you…” I said before I hung up the phone.
Well, the case was over and I felt a certain ease in my life. The woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with no longer has to worry about the bastard that hurt her. I was adamant with joy. I decided to take the rest of the day off so that I could plan a special evening for her and I. I wanted to be the first one to relay the wonderful news……. I called my florist to arrange a beautiful bouquet of a dozen roses mixed with a half a dozen orchids, her two favorite flowers, then I called the most prestigious restaurant in town, and booked it for the night. That was it, it would be just her and I……the plan was half completed, one last thing, I had to call her and ask her to come to dinner with me…
Tina started a great new job yesterday. She is the vice-president of the Peabody Foundation, working for the one and only Helena Peabody. Helena and I go back a long way. Yes, we were mutual “sex buddies” for Christ’s sake. How can I let her and my present girlfriend work together knowing she is a lesbian you ask? Well, I have yet to disclose to my Tina how I know Helena, and for Helena’s sake, she had better keep her mouth closed……I have already had that discussion with her.
“Hey T…”
“Hey Baby, how’s your day going?” she asks me…..
“Well, it would be the most awesome ending to the day if you would say yes to dinner with me tonight….”
“I……baby I would love to…..except…….Helena and I were going to work a few extra hours to go over the presentations from a few companies…..we are in need to make a decision, and we have narrowed it down to 2 different companies…..”
“Can’t you two finish tomorrow, T? Tonight, well it is a really special dinner…..I was sooo looking forward to you and I getting some time alone…..besides, I have some great news and I wanted to talk to you about it….” I said……..

Thanks for the updated chappy. Tina may not be happy that Erics locked up, but I am!She is a little crazy right now, one week after hooking up and she wanted a proposal!Can’t wait for more drama wild.
Tina needs to chill. And what a twist for Bette & Helena to be former lovers. They need to go ahead and tell Tina because it will hurt her more when she finds out later. She’ll think she is getting special treatment from Helena because of Bette. Bette should give her plenty of spce to think about what she really wants. She definately shouldn’t propose any time soon.
Poor Bette she has to handle when Tina is in not good mood. i hope Tina will listen her the next time.
Funny about Tina though Bette was propose her, poor Bette have to wait for Tina not mad at her. Ok post soon please, thanks!
Lets get Tina some HELP/THERPY for her anger. However I understand her anger this time. Bette should have been proposing to her.
Boy Tina is wound up tight huh? Yes Bette went a little overboard preparing for the “news” but surely Tina wouldn’t think Bette was proposing after this short period of time would she? Yeah it’s great when Bette and Helena are “former” lovers not to be revisited. Keep posting.
