“You were masterful Babe.” Tina lay down beside her wife. It had been a very long and eventful day.
“It was that or kill her where she stood” Bette smiled at her. “I would have had to I couldn’t let you go to jail for murder.”
“How did you know?” Tina was surprised that Bette knew that she was seriously considering ways to get rid of Alice for good.
“Tina you know I am a pretty private person. The only reason Alice and I are still friends is that I learned early on how to manage Alice. She has a good heart as we both know and a very big mouth. She is intensely loyal which works here. Alice used to be quite helpful to me when I had the gallery. She would gather social information on the hot artists that was very useful in landing them as clients.
She was surprisingly good at holding information back even with all her talk while managing to get a wealth of information from whomever she was working. If she has a purpose you can’t pry a thing out of Alice. I seriously don’t think we have anything to worry about in terms of Laurel’s paternity if anything Alice will squash it now.”
“Wow. I never heard you speak so highly of Alice.”
“Don’t tell her I did” Bette chuckled, “that I would never hear the end of.”
Tina lay by Bette’s side. She did not touch her understanding that she would be recuperating over the next several weeks. Turning to gaze at her she was again overcome by the gift Bette had given them. Her mind kept replaying the birthing process. Bette panting through the contractions and kissing her with such depth that it was almost painful. A flash of insight came to her…that’s what it meant to “hurt so good.”
The intimacy they shared just the two of them bringing their child into the world was beyond words. It was as if there was no barrier between them. At one point she stripped and joined Bette in the birthing tank feeling Bette’s body bring forth their child in such an intimate way would be a memory that she would savor for eternity.

Oh, that was sooo beautiful and Angie was so cute with her Ba Sis! O.K., I’m seeing sequel in my crystal ball….yes….definitely a sequel. I love this story, we have to know what happens as they grow. Magnificent Kelika, as usual!
Basis and Jelly are so cute. I hope a sequal is in store. Of course I would still love to see Bette father Tee’s next baby. I love your writings and look forward to your stories.
