    This is the way I wish the finale had ended.

    "Look, here comes Helena!"   Alice was sitting on the edge of the bench so she was the first to spot their Brit.  "Oops, I mean ‘there goes’ Helena."

    Kit leaned over and sure enough, she could see through the glass door that Helena was out in the hall again, but the female officer was taking her away from them.  "Now where’s she goin’?"

    Nikki piped up, "She’s being escorted to the debriefing area, same as Shane was."  Nikki was sitting on the far end of their bench, and hadn’t said anything for the past hour, so the other three that were left had almost forgotten she was there.  Now Bette and Kit turned to look at her, but Alice was the only one to speak, "How the heck do you know that?"

    "I played, you know, um, a pal of Lohan’s in that movie, you know?" The others just stared at her so Nikki continued. "I mean, um, we did a couple of scenes of ‘Who Killed Me’ together, and when we went out afterward she had that car crash and we ended up, um, here…"   Alice immediately went over to sit next to her to hear the rest.

    Kit and Bette merely rolled their eyes at each other.

     

    The two continued to sit in silence until Kit shifted as though her side ached, "These benches?  They oughta be under arrest, for assaultin’ our asses.  That’s the real reason Max went into labor – anythin’ to avoid sittin’ here on this wooden thing.  He’s probably more comfy squeezin’ that baby out over at St. Lukes…"  Kit muttered on, but her sister wasn’t listening. 

    Bette couldn’t take it anymore; it looked like Shane and now Helena had already finished, but Tina had gone in first and was still nowhere to be seen.  She got up and approached the desk sergeant, "Can you tell me what’s taking so long?"

    Slowly putting down his pen, the officer was about to reply with a firm "Sit, please." until he glanced up and realized that the woman standing by his desk looked like she was going to cry.   "Your name, please?"

    "I’m Bette Porter, and I’m concerned that my partner, Ms. Kennard, has been gone for over two hours now."

    6. I agree. this was waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy better than the original ending. OI agree with favcouple, an update on what Tina needs to tell Bette……….. Please continue.

    7. Very nice. Would like to see what other crime Tina was talking to the police about. Also I liked that the cause of Jenny’s death was resolved.

    9. I like your version of season ending much better. Too bad that IC did not have a similar version it would have saved a lot of gnashing of teeth, ill will and ill thoughts. Do we get more please for the entirety of season 6? Please say yes. PPS
