CHAPTER VIII

Planet Earth; Los Angeles CA

Carmen’s POV

I had been in this planet now for almost 2 months. I still couldn’t find this Bette woman with super sperm.   “God why couldn’t Christina get a last name.”

I kept driving around just getting ready to give up. I had spoken to Princess Katherine and she kept me updated with Christina’s situation. She was sentenced to death. Dana would remain their prisoner. She had also informed me that the 2 planets were getting ready for war.

I was running out of time and this Bette still remained a mystery.

As I drove I noticed a little café called the planet. “How ironic”.

I pulled into the parking lot. A girl had to eat plus it never hurt to do a little research in this place.

Once I walked in I could instantly feel the air change. I could smell another Fanger in the area. There was more than one. I couldn’t figure out who they were. The smell of Humans was helping them blend in.

I walked over to the counter to place my order. I ordered a coffee and looked for a place to sit. At a far end table I noticed a blonde with short spiky hair. I think I remember her that night I was here with Christina. I don’t know or understand why I didn’t introduce myself to this Bette. I would have been able to sniff her out.

I still couldn’t believe Christina had sex with a vampire. They were similar to Fangers except we could walk out during the day and actually ate food. I had gone to all the vampire bars I could find. I had gone back to Milk a few times. Nobody knew this vampire named Bette or nobody wanted to tell me.

I drank my coffee while I people watched.

Until I felt somebody’s eyes roaming my body. That gaze didn’t belong to a human. I turned to find the pervert that basically undressed me with their eyes.  I looked down to see if any buttons on my shirt had been undone. Nope but the girls looked good.

I went back to search out this pervert. Soon my search stopped when my eyes landed on big blue piercing eyes. She was easy one of the sexiest women here. I shook my head, I wasn’t here for pleasure my best friend was in trouble.
