    Chapter 10- How does Bette react to Angelica? and will she be there in time to save Tina.

    CHAPTER X

    I couldn’t believe it. Bette knew I was in trouble not only was I in trouble but so was her own flesh and blood. Yet she still chose to do nothing. It was now 6 in the morning. I had 3 hours left. Bette was not the women I thought she was when she kissed me or when we made love that night. Wait made love…I couldn’t be thinking that way. 

    My emotions seemed to be scrambled. I knew I loved Helena but there was something about Bette I couldn’t seem to shake off. I knew I couldn’t love her. I didn’t believe in love at first sight. While Helena and I were happily married I truly began to feel something for the blue eyes brunette. However images of Bette naked kept torturing me. I couldn’t understand how someone I lusted over had this much power over me.  I would sometimes daydream of how she would come to my rescue and would have her way with me.

    I shook my head not allowing myself to go there. Now really wasn’t the time.

    I held Angelica closer to me. She looked so much like her. The difference was her pointy ears and eye color but the shape was all Bette.  

    “Listen baby and remember my words. You’re the best thing that has ever happened to me. Your life would have truly been different if Helena was your other mother…. Please believe I truly love you. Always be the best you can be. Mommy loves you darling.”

    I stayed quiet when I heard our tower door open.

    Trying to make out the image of who could it be in the shadows.

    Dana who had been trained for these things quickly got up and stood in front of me.

    “Relax Elfron; I’m only here for the child.” The voice seemed non threatening  but I could tell this guard wasn’t in the mood to play around.

    “What? NO, why? Please I beg you leave her with me one last morning.” I pleaded. Holding Angelica closer to me.

    “Hand me the child women!” The guard placed her hand on her weapon ready for attack.

    “Over my dead body.” Dana spoke sternly

    “That can be arranged.” The spiky blonde smirked daring Dana.
