    Chatper 23- Tina finally gets some answeres. Helena joins Bette and Tina for there lunch with Tina’s mother.

     

    Chapter XXIII

     

     

    I was more than happy my mother had arrived. We hugged and spoke briefly before going to breakfast.

    Breakfast was more than a little interesting. My mom and Bette had more than bonded which was a little disturbing. I was more than sure she was just waiting for some time alone to really talk to her.

    Olivia seemed a little intense and I seemed to be the only one in the room that truly understood why. Bette was always a wild child and she thought she could control her by holding me hostage. However Bette didn’t seem like she was going to have any of it. I was glad, I was sure Olivia didn’t see that coming.

    Angelica’s trip to Elfron couldn’t come at a better time. She would be safe there. Princess Xiomara’s words seemed to strike a cord. She wanted me to be Bette’s second wife. I just wasn’t sure things were going to run as smoothly as she had planned. Olivia’s threat still hung over my head.

    “Christina!” I turned shocked.

    Great speaking of the devil and here comes Olivia. She looked a little angrier than I had ever seen her before. I’m not surprised after how breakfast turned out.

    “Why is Elizabeth so insistent on Angelica going to Elfron? Were you in on this?” She leaned in menacingly.

    “I haven’t held a conversation with Elizabeth since your last threat.” I stated matter of fact.

    “Then maybe that’s the problem.” I wondered if she asking me to whore myself to her daughter. I had to put her straight right away.

    “Once she realized I didn’t get divorced and thinks I never wanted too, she hasn’t asked for me. In fact she spoke to me more today during breakfast then the last time I saw her. Do you know where she would get the idea that I’m not interested?” I questioned. I knew it was her. I just didn’t understand why she was so determined to keep us apart.

    What was this woman really gaining out of all this?

    “I couldn’t tell you. Convince her that you want to stay, do you understand me? Convince her!”

    “Are you fucking kidding me? She has already agreed to send Angelica to Elfron. How am I supposed to tell her I don’t want to go with my daughter?  That wouldn’t make sense, now would it?” I leaned in letting know how much I dispraised her. I could be just as menacing.

I can’t beleive Olivia is Bette other mother. there are so different. Tina needs to read that prophecie and quick. She needs to know the destiny of her woman and daughetrs.yes i have missed this story. Thank you for coming back.

    3. WOW!!!!!!!!!! what a couple of chapters, thanks so much for posting both of them. This last chapter has clarified some of the questions that I had but there is still a lot of intrigue and mystery surrounding all of them. Olivia is a serpent in the grass and needs to be watched at all times, the woman is dangerous. Seemingly she wants to rule all the planets herself and I think Bette and Angelica are in grave danger from olivia. It’s so good that Tina’s mother came to visit and has some background info on olivia and what is going on in the undercurrent. Bette probably doesn’t know all that she needs to know about what is going on. I want to know more about Peggy and her time as Queen and what she is about. I don’t see her being as evil as olivia but olivia is definitely holding something over Peggy’s head. This is a very interesting story and I can hardly wait for each chapter. You have an awesome imagination. Thanks so much for posting.

    6. Now I understand Bette’s behaviour.. ..And why she wants this kind of arrangement. ..At least Tina knows, and they were not keeping her in the dark. …Hope she can keep this up and won’t give the Queen that she knows more then the Queen allowed it.

    8. The intrigue! Planet Whiteout just *sounds* scary. So does that prophecy… there are going to be wars to get all these planets under Fangura’s rule. Elfron sounds the safest place for Tina and Angelica to be. I’m glad Queen Lynda seems to like Bette and sees through Olivia. Peggy and Olivia both are just… they’re mysteries. Thanks for the post, can’t wait for the next! :)
