    The Next Morning (Continues)

     

     

    Kit:  OMG… mama M… it that really you…

    Lexi:  Kit… I have missed you…

    They both embrace… laughing and crying at the same time… soon Bette, Tina and Linda also started crying… but they were ”Happy Tears”… when they all finally sat back down…

    Kit:  I need to hear this story…

    Bette:  and I know mom will tell you soon enough… but go back to what you said a few minutes ago…

    Kit:  oh Hell… HE IS COMING OVER…

    Bette:  and I don’t want him to see mom…

    Linda:  let me take Lexi back to my place… Melvin wouldn’t think twice about her being there… that is if he heard any rumors about last night…

    Lexi:  even if he did… he was never interested in my paintings… and even less what name I used… so he wouldn’t put 2 and 2 together…

    Tina: I wouldn’t underestimate him…

    Bette:  Tina is right… mom you go with mom… let us handle Melvin… besides he has never set one foot into this house before…

    Tina:  he’s scared he will turn gay…

    Lexi:  Bette I see what you see in Tina… not only is she beautiful… and smart… but what a sense of humor…

    Linda:  ok let’s get going… before he decides to come over early…

    THE FRONT DOOR BELL RINGS…

    Bette:  oh FUCK ME…

    Tina looks out the side window…

    Tina:  oh yeah… let the games begin…

    Linda grabbed Lexi and they both ran into Bette and Tina’s bedroom… Kit picked up some cups so if Melvin did make it into the house… he wouldn’t see all of the used cups… Tina went to answer the door with Bette standing behind the closed door…

     

    Tina looks out the window, and then opens the door…

     

    Tina:  well Melvin… what brings you around here…

     

    Melvin:  hmmm Miss Kennard, I’m here to see my daughter…

     

    Tina:  it’s MRS PORTER, and what do you want… Bette is still in bed, which is where I’m heading back to… so if you don’t mind…

     

    Melvin:  I know Katherine is here… her car is here…

     

    Tina:  yes she is, she is helping us with the baby, so we can get some much needed sleep…

    8. Thanks for the update. Glad Bette finally stood up to Melvin, it had to be hard for her but necessary. I am happy that Tina also stood up for her self. Love that scene with them tusseling in the bed together. And Grandma Lexi was awesome with Tessa and then with the headphones. We need more updates more often.
