    Tuesday evening, October 25th 6:30pm – West Hollywood Elementary School Board meeting

     

    “While I understand the need for fiscal responsibility, and that cuts to the budget are necessary, let’s make sure those cuts are strategic, rather than just slashing at the same easy targets such as art and music.” Bette took a deep breath and continued her impassioned speech to the school board members. “We live in a city where creativity is not only encouraged, but necessary for the livelihood of so many of our citizens. All I’m asking is let’s take the time to examine all facets of the budget before making any final decisions.”

    Henry Young rolled his eyes trying not to let his frustration with Bette Porter show too much on his face. It was his recommendations to his fellow board members she was fighting against, and no matter how gorgeous she was, he had no intention of letting this woman disrespect him or his position on the board.

    Tina Kennard had been sitting quietly in the back of the room listening to the debate going on about whether to cut out all art and music classes from her daughter’s school when she literally felt her world stop. A woman had stood up to speak and even though Tina was sitting behind her she could feel the passion…the love emanating from her perfect body….could see the beautiful purple aura surrounding her head, protected by silky black hair and curls softly bouncing with each movement. When the woman started to speak Tina couldn’t control her soft moan as a mushroom cloud of heat exploded through her body, so unspoiled was this woman’s dulcet tones.

     Oh, what a glorious creature!!

    So caught up was she in absorbing the energy waves shooting out from this spectacular mortal being, Tina didn’t realize the woman had stopped speaking. So it was without warning that she was ripped back to reality by the crude, negativity of Henry Young’s voice.

    “While I appreciate your opinions Ms. Porter, especially given your vocation, I…I mean we, the board believe that rather than coddle a few students who would like to spend their days coloring, we must make these cuts in order to give all our students the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to prepare them for the intense international competition they will face in the future.”

    9. That was a great post. So first the treat of the story and the trick of them never really meeting. You know that you must continue this story right, so that at some point, the two women actually do meet one another and etc., etc.

    28. WOW!! seeing a new post from you is such a great treat this halloween! But i think that this story needs a sequel i mean you cant just let this to end like that.. Bette and Tina have to meet each other again whether in the real or magical world.. So loved this, thanks Sea!:-D
