    #TLW10 Campfire Part Two

Bette’s eyes met Tina’s, both women wordlessly expressing their regret for the pain Jodie was feeling, but not for the love they shared. Bette’s face dissolved into tears and she gave Tina a slight shake of her head as she too turned and walked out of the light of the campfire and into the darkness.

The entire group was stunned into silence, horrified by what they had just witnessed between their friends. “Well,” Kit turned and gave Tina a hug. “That’s my cue to head back to my tent. You come talk to me if you need to, ya hear baby girl?”

“Thanks Kit,” Tina whispered as she kissed her on the cheek. Tina watched Kit walk away, following her with her eyes until she disappeared into her tent. Once the flap was lowered she whirled around to Alice.

“What the fuck is wrong with you!?” she spat.

Stunned by the venom in Tina’s tone Alice literally leaned back trying to create a false sense of distance. “Wwwhhaa…what did I do,” she stammered.

Tina looked at her in disbelief. “What did you do? Are you fucking kidding me Alice?! Did you not hear one fucking word that came out of your own mouth, or were you too busy soaking up all the attention?!”

“Tina,” Jenny said softly hoping to calm her friend down.

“No Jenny,” Tina pointed at Alice. “This is between me and Alice. It’s been building for 10 years, and I’ve had it!”

“Tina,” Alice said. “I was joking. I didn’t know that…I mean how was I supposed to know…I was joking,” she repeated trying to placate her angry friend.

“Joking?! Tina scoffed in disbelief. “That’s your idea of a joke, to humiliate one of your best friends in front of her partner!?”

To say that Alice was surprised by Tina’s outburst would be an understatement. She was so caught up in the campfire confessional aspect of the game that she didn’t even think of who might be hurt by her words. “What are you getting so upset about Tina? It’s not like I was aiming the joke at you.”

Tina just stared at Alice, then shaking her head in disbelief she lowered herself onto a log. “You can’t honestly believe that.”

    1. As i may have said elsewhere i think its high time that Alice got called out on her open mouth – no brain style. Why would anyone be friends with someone who caused them so much pain ? she’s an ass and yeah on Tina calling her out on it. any chance of a THIRD chapter ??

    2. Alice has a big fucking mouth and noone ever put her in the right place. She think that when she has a story its ok to tell the world not caring if the story should even be told….Thanks for that I just gonna imagine that it was apart of the show!!
