The Triangle of Love – Chapter 15 (Part 1)

Lara: WHAT? SHES BACK THERE ALREADY?

Aidan: Yeah, they were at The Planet and Alice suddenly screamed in pain. I followed them to the hospital and Shane was there too.

Lara: Why has she gone back so soon?

Aidan: I don’t know. All I saw was Dana swapping seats with Shane; they sat for a few minutes before Alice screamed.

Lara: You need to get to the hospital and see how long they’ll be in for.

Aidan: Maybe I shouldn’t. It might look suspicious if I go to see her, since I was never told about the incident.

Lara: You’ve got a point. We’ll wait for them to get home, and then the plan will begin.

    Aidan: Alright.

In all honesty, Aidan didn’t agree with any of Lara’s plan. The last thing he wanted was to see two people who were clearly head over heels in love with each other being broken apart. He understood Lara’s point of view, but the more he thought about her plan, the more he was regretting agreeing to work with her. He had gotten to know Alice and Dana over the past few weeks, and although it started out as a way to find more out about the pair for Lara’s plan, he was beginning to see how nice Alice and Dana were. He had to talk to Lara before it was too late. They were in the warehouse, which had become a regular place to meet up for any information on the plan. Lara had her back to Aidan while she looked over some details of the plan.

Aidan: Lara, are you sure about all this?

Lara: What are you talking about? Of course I’m sure.

Aidan: It’s just that… I think Alice and Dana should be left alone; they really care for each other.

Lara: What? Don’t say you’re getting cold feet now, Aidan. You’ve committed yourself to this, and you’re not getting out of it now.

Aidan: How have I committed myself?

Lara: You said you were interested in the plan. And if you’re no longer interested, it’s too late. If you try to back out now, there will be consequences for you too.

    Aidan: You’re threatening me?

Lara: Consider it a warning. You will go through with the plan, and if you don’t, you’ll meet my men under different circumstances.

Seconds later, two largely built men walked out of a room and made their way over to Aidan. They stood beside him, one at either side, and nodded towards Lara, approving what she had just said.

Lara: Now, go home and make a choice. You’ll only get one chance.

The two men escorted Aidan out of the building and walked with him to his car. They made sure he got in and drove away before they went back inside. As Aidan was driving towards his house, he tried to make a decision. Should he go to the hospital and at least warn Alice and Dana that Lara is planning something, or should he go along with the plan? He decided on the plan, or at least dragging it out as long as he can, so Alice and Dana could at least recover. He drove home, and went straight to sleep. It had been a long day, following Alice and Dana round.
