    Nobis Pacem Chapter 6

    Aerin

It was the series of cooling breezes blowing over my breasts, teasing my nipples to a hardening state, that finally woke me. I curled into a ball, felt around my immediate surroundings for a blanket, and, after a few futile attempts, realized with some frustration that I would not be able to hide from the persistent ocean breeze whispering across my skin.

As I blinked my eyes and forced them to open, I saw that a large umbrella had been set-up over me, which helped to protect me from the sun, but did little to block the cool wind that was steadily blowing in now.

A very small part of me was complaining about waking before my body was ready to. Particularly after an amazing night of being seduced and then brought to a level of mind-blowing ecstasy the way Harley had done to me. But the rest of me, the much larger part, was not feeling sorry. How could I complain, really?

As I thought about last night, I realized my nose could smell coffee – and good quality coffee at that. Not the cheap stuff. I carefully moved my head in the direction of that welcome smell of java. I thought I spied something, after I was finally able to focus my eyes on something. There! On top of the side table, from a mug that looked like it was still steaming.

Harley. Was there nothing she did that didn’t bewitch me?

I gingerly pushed myself up to sit somewhat upright on our makeshift bed and then scooted to the side table so that I could carefully lift the mug up. I inhaled a lungful of the heavenly brew and looked at what my angel had fixed for me. A mocha latte, it looked like. I took a sip.

    Mmmmm…. sooooo go-o-ood!

I drank a mouthful thirstily, burned my tongue slightly, and then set the mug back down on the side table, feeling small and selfish about not having done anything for her the whole night last night, and through to this morning. Whereas she’d done practically everything to take care of almost all my needs.

I sighed contentedly. The way she’d made love to me had made me weep — it had been that good. And then she’d rocked me to sleep as I cuddled helplessly, bonelessly, against her. And now, she’d woken early, had fixed me a latte, and had then set this umbrella up to protect me.

    1. wow! Did not see that coming. Aerin cannot make that decision alone. Must communicate with Harley. They can always move back East and be under the “protection” of the other girls.

    2. Hi, yes, hoping to fix this. A bit tricky. Plus, wasn’t happy with the structure of what I drafted so thought I should take a step back first, clear the muck in my mind out, etc. and start with a clean screen. It will be the last chapter and I have to get through a lot, so want to be sure it not only concludes the story well, but flows, too. Thanks for reading. Do let me know what you think about the story, after. ????
