Message two: ‘Cat, i need to see you. x’
She deleted Frankie’s text in annoyance. How dare she! All
she wants is her fix. Cat read Hannah’s text over again and allowed a smile to
creep across her face. Her normal organisational self was scared by this
situation but it was exciting and such a release from real life, within 24
hours, Cat was becoming addicted to a new drug.
************
‘Oh my f**king god, i look a mess. Why am i so damn nervous?
What if she thinks i’m a total twat, even more than she does already? I feel
frigging sick!’
Cat was talking aloud at a rate and pitch only dogs could
understand. As she finally put her coat on, she took one last look in the
mirror and for a split second considered cancelling. Did she really need more
baggage, more mess, more feelings to contemn with? Yes.
As she approached the bar, there was a woman leaning against
the wall slowly puffing on a cigarette.
“We must stop meeting like this.” She laughed.
“Well it saves me walking inside alone looking a total
idiot.” Cat shifted nervously.
“So you don’t always scowl at people then?”
“Only the ones i want to catch the attention of.” Cat
stuttered slightly, blushing.
“I’m crap at this.” She continued.
“Crap at what?” Hannah knew what she meant but wanted to see
Cat squirm that little bit more.
Cat grinned as she picked up on what her date was up to, but
bit the bullet.
“Flirting!” her eyes flicked up for a brief moment to meet
Hannah’s.
Both felt fireworks, inner sparks. There was silence, but it
was a seductive silence. Neither knew what to do next. Play the game, or cut to
the chase. Hannah smiled playfully at the brunette.
“You’re trying to flirt with me are you? I better buy you a
drink then.”
They entered the bar. Cat felt a tingle down her back as
they sat down to face each other. She kept placing her hair behind her ears and
clearing her throat, as if this were the first date she had ever experienced.
“You seem nervous. Are you always this worked up?” Hannah
seemed concerned.
“Pretty much yeah,” Cat responded. “I am quite a stresshead
sometimes, but it’s just the whole dating situation isn’t it. It’s a pressure
cooker.”
Cat could sense the reaction, ‘she thinks I’m a freak’! She
moved her fingertips around the bottom of her wine glass, the perspiration
steaming the glass momentarily.
“Excuse me a sec, I’m just popping to the ladies.” Cat
thought this would not only give herself a break from the self humiliation but
also give her date the chance to do a runner if so be it. She stood at the sink
and bathed her cherry cheeks with cold water trying to avoid her own self
loathing stare in the mirror. As she patted her face dry she gasped as she saw
another face in the mirror standing behind her.
“I think i know how i can stop you feeling so tense,” Hannah
moved closer until her torso was almost touching Cat’s back. Cat could feel her
adrenalin pumping around like an Olympic sprinter as she watched Hannah’s hands
begin to squeeze her hips. She didn’t move, couldn’t move. Her breaths became shorter
and sharper as she tried to contain her desire.
Hannah’s hands moved down, tracing the waistband of Cat’s
jeans. She unbuttoned and unzipped and let her right hand duck under the black
lacy underwear which had fixated her stare in the mirror. Cat’s back contracted
as her waist rippled into the blondes’ body as she felt Hannah’s tongue
stroking her neck. She could feel Hannah pushing her cleavage into her back
with every caress.
Cat’s head dropped backwards to lean on Hannah’s shoulder.
Their eyes met like lasers, fingertips touching every part of each other before
clumsily making it into a cubicle. Cat’s small stiletto heel kicking the door
shut from behind. She was finally taking some control as she pulled off Hannah’s
top and let her lips head south at high speed.
As the petit brunette dropped to her knees, her date
realised that there was more than met the eye with this one. She tried to take
in every image, each touch. The passion was palpable, the noises were getting
louder, clothes were scattered.
The blonde got there, hard. Cat got to her feet as she casually
dabbed her face. Hannah grabbed hold of her, lifted her up, encouraging Cat to
straddle her. Her strength was a turn on. The music from the bar was faint but
both were rhythmically banging away up against the cubicle door. Cat had lost
sense of reality; she was flying, free from inhibition, releasing all the pain
by feeling such raw pleasure.
Crash! The toilet door swung open…
