    EXT. STREET. NIGHT Rose and Kenny sit on the sidewalk of small side street with bad lighting. Rose wears a skirt and heeled shoes. She pulls her skirt down trying to cover her legs. She clearly looks uncomfortable in her outfit. Rose is nervously shaking her leg. Kenny notices. KENNY Hey relax, everything is going

    EXT. STREET. NIGHT

    Rose and Kenny sit on the sidewalk of small side street with bad lighting. Rose wears a skirt and heeled shoes. She pulls her skirt down trying to cover her legs. She clearly looks uncomfortable in her outfit. Rose is nervously shaking her leg. Kenny notices.

    KENNY

    Hey relax, everything is going to be o.k.

    ROSE

    Easy for you to say, you’re not wearing a tight skirt.

    Kenny smiles.

    KENNY

    You look really different.

    Rose shoots Kenny a look.

    KENNY (CONT’D)

    But nice!

    Rose and Kenny laugh, and Rose puts her head on Kenny’s shoulder. Rose sees Claire approaching and stands up quickly looking really happy to see her. Rose and Claire hug. Claire stands back to get a better look at Rose’s outfit.

    CLAIRE

    You look really beautiful!

    ROSE

    So do you!

    Rose and Claire stand there holding hands and looking at each other, forgetting for a second that Kenny is there. Kenny stands up next to them and clears his throat making the girls snap out of it.

    CLAIRE

    Sorry! Hi Kenny!

    KENNY

    Hey Claire!

    Kenny takes three fake IDs from his back pocket. They all exchange glances. Rose and Claire put their IDs in their purses and Kenny puts his in his wallet. They walk together towards the main street.

    CUT TO:

    MEDIUM SHOT – “QUEER SLOW DANCE” POSTER, CAMERA PANS TO CROWD WAITING TO GET INTO BAR.

    EXT. BAR. NIGHT

    A lineup of people are waiting to get into a bar located on Queen Street West (best known as Queer street by locals). Rose, Claire and Kenny stop in their tracks when they see a tall and intimidating bouncer checking IDs at the door.

    ROSE (TO CLAIRE AND KENNY)

    Does all this makeup make me look older?

    CLAIRE

    Yeah, you definitely look older.

    ROSE

    I’ve never worn makeup before.

    Do you think it’s going to work?

    CLAIRE

    I guess we’ll find out.

    KENNY

    I think we shouldn’t go in together.

    Three fake IDs in a row might be pushing it.

    Rose and Claire look at each other and nod in agreement with Kenny. All three look hesitant. Kenny steps forward.

    KENNY (CONT’D)

    I’ll do it and, if it works, you two follow.

    Kenny gets into the bar. Rose and Claire are waiting further back in the lineup. Rose hears her cell phone beep and pulls it out of her purse.
