    After Prom… – (Chapter: “It’s not that I don’t love you, it’s that I love her more.”)

“Hey Spencer. What was that with Ashley?” Carmen snaked her arm around my waist. “Nothing. Spanish project crap.” I whispered. “Did you find out why she interrupted us last night?” “Yeah. I left something over at her house. My ipod.” “Thanks for last night. I love the way you love me, Spence.” I put my arms over hers on my waist, and brought her around for a kiss. “Can you please go with me to Chelsea’s studio after school? I want to paint you.” I laughed. “Carmen, you are obsessed with making me the center of your art.” “So? You should be grateful, Spence, what if I become a famous artist? Everyone’s going to be soooo jealous of you!” I rolled my eyes playfully and gave her a hug when the bell rang before we parted. In English, Ashley was yet again looking over at me as if I was a ticking time bomb about to explode any second. “I have plans w/her afterskool. I’ll have to go 2 ur house later. Sry Ash.” I texted to her. I saw her 39483243 texts that she had sent me from yesterday. Apparently all of them asked where I was, what I was doing, etc.

“What is more important, Spence. Being with her or havin a talk wit the person u actually love.” She texted back. I grinded my teeth is annoyance, narrowing my eyes at her when she looked back at me. Out of sheer anger I texted back, “And what if I do love her.” Ashley’s fists clenched once she read it. “U can’t.” is all she texted back. “We’ll have this talk later, once I’m done hanging out wit her today.” “What, didn’t you already bang her enough yest?” At that point, I deleted her last text and just turned my phone off, tossing it back into my bag in annoyance. I can never be on good terms with both of them, can I? Then again, I AM creeping around with Ashley and telling her how much I love her and then turning around and deciding that I think I am in love with Carmen too. Is it possible to be in love with two people at the same time? Oh, fuck. I’m playing with their feelings. Pulling an Ashley, in other words. Oh no. What am I gonna do? I really don’t want to break Carmen’s heart. I do want to be with her, because I’ve fallen for her, but I think Ashley has a stronger pull on me. I groaned softly to myself. I, Spencer Carlin, am fucked.

    1. I swear someone needs to beat the shit out of Aiden to the point he can’t remember his own name! I’m glad Spencer took Ashley into her arms…she definitely still madly in love with that girl. I’m so looking forward to your next and final update before the season 3 opener. Awesome storytelling!
