Back to Reality – (Chapter: thats how it goes)

Joey went downstairs to catch a break from deathly reading. She turned the corner into the kitchen to find Justin Steen, sitting at her table drinking some iced tea. Justin was Joey’s best guy friend until they started to like each other. One thing lead to the next & they fought and fought. Causing their break-up. Justin stood up. “hey…” Justin said stupidly. Joey looked around as if she was being watched.

“Um..hey? wha-”Joey tried. This was the first time Joey and Justin spoke since their last big fight.

“My parents kicked me out…” Justin looked at the white tiled floor that covered the kitchen. Joey just stared vacantly at him. “Let me finish.” (Not that she was stopping him) “You’re the only one I can come to. All my other friends only use me for pot.” Justin looked down & then to the left, hiding his eyes in his dark brown hair. All joey could do was pat him on the back

“You can sleep in the clubhouse. It has air conditioning and everything” Joey said quietly. Justin walked out back& eased his way into the clubhouse. Joey ran to her room & dialed Tara’s number again.

    “Ugh. Hello?” Tara greeted.

“Well hello to you too” Joey sat on her desk

    “What’s up?”

    “Well, Justin’s here.”

    “Wait…Justin as in Justin Steen!?”

Joey sighed “yes. His parents kicked him out & I told him he could stay here.”

    “That’s, um. Great?”

    “Tara!”

    “No it’s, its horrible!?”

“No he came to me for help!” joey paced around her room

“What the fuck do you want me to say!?”

“Ugh I don’t know.” joey laid down on her bed

“Well the neighbors moved in. There’s a cute brunette moving in the room with the window that’s visible from mine” Joey could once again hear her smiling.

“Tara, don’t be a creep” Joey laughed.

“I’m just siked that Ellie’s GONE and out of state!” Ellie was Tara’s annoying as fuck neighbor. They used to be friends. But then she went into high school. Ever since then, they didn’t talk that much. Ellie moved when her dad got an offer in Indiana. “Oh. Some big bad buff guy just walked into her room. Damnit she has a boyfriend!”

    Tara’s smile quickly faded.

“Its okay, Tara. I’m sure there will be plenty of neighbors in the near future to spy on.” Joey smiled

“I guess. ahha but I gotta go walk the dogs. Bye” Tara hung up.

    1. well excuse me. but if you actually read the authors note..theyre coming in the next chapter. i put this in for fun. &im pretty sure little kids do not want to be reading the word “fuck” in like every paragraph. just simply dont read it if you dont like it. okay? okay.

    2. Tip: Not many Spashley lovers care about OCs. If you want to pull in readers, it’s best to incorporate at least one of the main characters in the first chapters. Last, this is not NC-17. I don’t know if you’re familiar with the rating system or if you’re trying to fool readers but this is G rated, PG at the most.
