The girls spent a couple of hours going over the material, testing one another till they both agreed to turn in. But before falling into a state of slumber, Ashley suggested watching an episode of the O.C. she had Tivo-ed and had been dying to watch. Spencer, also being an avid fan of the show agreed.

Spencer and Ashley lay on a sleeping bag spread open, their faces contently focused on the television to the left of them. Spencer was closely situated to the television with

Ashley peering over her from behind.

The screen portrayed an image of an attractive girl lying on top of Ryan’s bed, with Ryan hovering above, focusing an intense gaze on the girl. Falling prey to his animal instincts he began to move his fingers along the edge of the bottom of the girl’s camisole, gliding his fingers upward. The girl exhaled a deep sigh, with her eyes closed, briefly let him run them along her stomach before stopping him. Feeling betrayed, Ryan reacted in a manner that stunned all O.C. fans including Ashley and Spencer. Taking advantage of his significant amount of strength over the girl, he pushed her back down, forcing himself upon her.

Spencer startled by the scene raised her blanket up in horror to block her view from watching it. When she lowered the blanket down, she was even more shocked to see a tangle of dark locks dangling above her, Ashley positioned herself in a Ryan-like manner above her. The two held their position till an unpredictable Ashley let out a snicker, and deciding to lean on her side, said

"How was that threatening?"

Spencer, feeling slightly humiliated and offended countered by raising her own body above Ashley’s, situating herself uncomfortably close, clearly invading Ashley’s space. To Spencer’s surprise, she was able to make out a rather amused curve of the lips of the girl that lay beneath her.

"You don’t find that the least bit intimidating?" squinting her eyes, in a challenging glance at the brunette, Spencer proceeded to lay back down.

Ashley, turning to face Spencer replied, "I couldn’t even tell what Ryan was doing," climbing over Spencer so she could get a better view of the television, and lying down in her new spot.
