I wasn’t going to mention the hospital, there would be another time for that, if I said anything at all. Her words last night must have been a coincidence. I sat and watched her dealing with the memories, this is what she had been trying to explain to me. There was a lot of history, bad behaviour, callous actions and mental trauma she still needed to come to terms with, out here, in the real world. Therapy sessions in a safe environment were one thing, facing the consequences of her actions and fighting temptation were still part of her daily existence. Add the, albeit pleasant, stress of a fledgling relationship into the mix and it would be asking for trouble. Now that I fully understood I admired her maturity and self-awareness. I would have happily gone in head first and tried to fix her myself but that wouldn’t help in the long run.
‘I’m sorry,’ Ashley apologised but couldn’t meet my eye. ‘Sorry I don’t remember, sorry I wanted to use you for a fuck,’ she finished in a whisper.
‘You’re forgiven.’ The words were simple but her body sagged as the tension left. I knelt up on the bed so I was facing her and gently cupped her face in my hands. I needed to tell her exactly how I felt ‘If you had stayed we might not be here, now, like this.’ I kissed her soft lips then stared into caramel depths. ‘Ever since that moment, when I looked into your eyes, I’ve been yours Ashley Davies. I’ve not been able to get you out of my head. I think about you constantly and just the memory of your scent drives me wild.’ I buried my nose in her hair as if to prove my point.
Ashley’s head dropped back and she moaned softly, giving me free access to her neck.
’I’ve fantasised about being with you, making love. Giving you everything I have.’ I sucked on her pulse point until I marked her. She made no move to push me away, rather revelled in the branding. ‘Taking what you have to give.’ She hummed deep in her throat at the deeper meaning behind my words.
‘Spencer,’ my brunette gasped as she ran her fingers through my hair.
‘I love you Ashley.’
‘I love you Spencer.’

’Good weekend?’ Amy straddled my lap and kissed me softly on the lips and I was more than happy to indulge myself and spent long moments kissing her back.
‘Um, yes, but I need to talk to you,’ her mood dropped at my quiet words.
‘Spencer, what’s wrong?’ She was worried but I don’t think she really knew why.

Been a crazy week but I’m finally caught up. All I got to say is YAY! Spashley! But, I feel really bad for Maggie though. I don’t want her to get hurt, but Spashley is a must! Man! I’m torn, but great update, and awesome story as always. PMS Please!

Alright first off that was AMAZING. The Spencer and Ashley thing works so well. I think that as long as Maggie has both of them in her life then she would be happy. I totally understand where Ashley is coming from when it comes to the 24hrs thing and only knowing each other for a week. It makes sense. I can tell you now with your skills that nc-17 moment between Ashley and Spencer will be one of the hottest things I will ever read. The interactions between the two just works and its nice to see. I really like this story. Your an amazing writer and friend. Good job.
This was a great chapter, finally we are getting somewhere with Spashley. I love this story, but I don’t know how realistic some aspects of it is. I mean, these friend (Spencer) sleeping with friends, and sleeping with friends and there girlfriends; and now being in love with somebody who is in love with you, but isn’t ready to be with you yet, and is ok with Spencer continuing to sleep with her select few, AND they all know about each other AND are ok with it. I’m sorry I doubt this would work out in real life, I don’t know any group of friends like this. But it works and works well in this story, so okay. I understand why Ashley is hesitating to jump straight into a relationship, I think she is right in holding off. But I think Spencer needs to tell Ashley that she stayed by her side while she was in the hospital. Now that they have gotten on that level, telling each other that they love each other, Spencer should definitely tell her, I don’t think it will have any negative effects on their relationship. The longer time goes on, omission turns into lying. So, she might as well tell her and get it out the way. Great update. Hope you update again soon.

I cant tell you how much i love this story.. It makes my day when i see an update. The characters are brilliant the writing is amazing i feel the emotions as i read alonh i cry with the characters i laugh w them i look forward to every update i know u mentioned in a previous chap that maggie n spencer stick w their arrangment untill she leaves for college.. and not on bad terms so i look forward to see ashley and spencers relationship grow n how maggie plays into it.. U do think spencer should not sleep w addy n kate anymore because there might be jealousy issues regarding them n ashley.. And addy and jaye have eachother.. As for amy i love her n hope ashley doesnt freak out wen she finds out shes one of spencers lovers n also hope amy isnt hurt by spencers love for ashley… Pms please i am patiently waiting lol xoxo -Britt
1-ok so if spence and ash were to make a clean break from maggie it seems as though that would cause some tension between all of them. obviously with maggie because she’d have been pushed to the side. but I also think that it would be awkward between spence and ash because they both care about maggie so much 2-if maggie takes them up on their offer, I see it as hurting her more than the quick break would. yes they’d all get something physical out of it but the emotional would mainly be between ash and spence and I know that mag’s isn’t actually in love with either of them (or so she says) but the depth of her love I think would cause a lot of emotional pain on her part if she went with that option. and there’s only so long you can go in a situation like that where someone gets seriously hurt, mentally and emotionally. to me, right now, it seems like one big lose-lose situation. anyway I absolutely loved that spence told ash how she’s been feeling since they first met. and yes I cried, again, on this reread. poor maggie I’m worried about her a little bit. I don’t know about ash and spence actually having sex before ash is capable of taking care of herself… if it does happen I hope spence has the sense to stop her actions with everyone else because I could see that as possibly being destructive on ash. although I do love how you hinted toward the little battle of who would be on top, that did have me laughing. holy shit I’ve written a book here haven’t I? sorry but this one just got my mind working so I’m spilling it for ya! fantastic job babe, can’t wait for the next one!
