“hey Katie…” I said getting my best friends attention

“yep…” she replied turning around

“should I call her back?” I asked her needing some solid advice

“if you think you can handle it…” she told me “…just don’t go crawling back to her, because she’s the one that fucked up…not you” she added smiling at me before leaving then of course like clock work…my front doorbell rang, and I figured it’d be Katie because she forgot something which was so typical of her.

“mom!” I yelled through the house then no one answered “mom!” I yelled even louder and still nothing, so I figured I was home alone “ugh…” I groaned getting out of bed wearing a black beater, my head was up in a messy bun and I had on my glasses with some American Eagle green plaid pajama pants on that were my favorite.

I walked down the stairs to the front door and I opened it being blinded by the light for a second then I saw Spencer standing right in front of me

“what are you doing here?” I asked her coldly

“you don’t look good…” she told me

“yeah I wonder why…” I said being sarcastic “…but what are you doing here?”

“well you’re not answering your phone…so I came by to see you…” she told me “…maybe we could talk” she offered

“yeah? Well we just talked…and to be honest that’s a lot more talking then I wanted to do with you right now…so if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go drown in the lyrics of boys II men while realizing how much my life is going to suck for one more week…” I told her going to shut the door then she stopped it with her hand and I started hitting my head on the edge of it “…why, why, why…” I groaned while hitting my head “…why are you making this so difficult?” I asked her

“because it’s what I do…I do little annoying things over and over until you finally listen to me…” she said which was true

“yeah well you’re winning…” I said walking away from my front door leaving it open and Spencer walked in after me

“aren’t you going up into your room?” she asked me as I walked into the kitchen
