“you’re just…glowing” Katie said smiling at me

“so…was it good? You need to tell us everything, minus the details” Katie said

“I want details…” Aiden said then I punched him

“you would” Katie said looking at him laughing “but how was it? Everything you hoped?”

“everything and more…” I told them “…it was perfect…”

“where’d you do it?” she asked me

“my house…”

“but where” Aiden added

“why do you need to know?” 

“he just wants a visual…” she said then I looked at her funny “…wait! No I didn’t…wow never mind”

“basically everywhere…my parents went with Kyla to her volleyball tourney so we were home all alone”

“gross, I hope you clean” Katie said trying to be serious then she started laughing “…but really I am happy for you…”

“thanks” I told her

“oh! Ash…so I guess where I got in?” Aiden asked me

“where?” I asked him

“Boston U” he told me

“Aiden! That’s awesome!” I told him

“you get yours yet?” Katie asked me

“not yet…I just hope I get in…”

“if not BU then for sure NYU…” she told me

“what about you?” I asked her

“NYU baby!” she said all excited

“did you get any acceptance letters?” Aiden asked

“I got my UCLA letter…and UCSB, but I want to try and stay east coast…”

“no word from Loyola of Chicago?” Katie asked

“it’s so cold there in the winter” I told them

“psh New York and Boston aren’t any better” she told me

“yeah…true…” I replied

“how’s Spencer taking the whole college thing?” Aiden asked

“uh…we haven’t really talked about it…I think it’ll click once I start getting my letters and planning classes and stuff…” I told them

“that’s how Matt was…” Katie told me “…we were perfect until he got his scholarship letters, then all hell broke loose” she said

“you guys are still together though…” I mentioned

“yeah, but it’s hard…you have to really be committed for long distance relationships…and I love it when he surprises me coming home without telling me, it’s so cute and he always brings me flowers and apologizes for going away…plus the sex is always amazing when he comes back and…”
