So I wasn’t feeling too great after remembering Brooke again…I mean, it’s hard and it probably always will be…but I mean, the moment will pass if you’re strong enough to get through it right? I mean I have an amazing girlfriend who wants to be with me…

I was in my room all day and I didn’t really feel like talking to anyone…it wasn’t that I was in a bad mood, I was just a little depressed…

At around 2 in the afternoon Spencer walked into my room with a pint of ben & jerry’s ice cream and she smiled at me as I sat on my floor looking at old pictures of Brooke and I

“hey…” I said trying to smile at her

“hey…I um would have brought you flowers…but Ben & Jerry seemed like the better idea…” she said trying to make me smile

“thanks…” I said then she sat down by me and I started putting away the pictures then I left out a ring that was sitting in a little box with Brooke’s writing on the inside and Spencer was looking at it “…she bought it for me for our two month anniversary…I wore it everyday until…” and I paused not wanting to finish my sentence

“so why don’t you still wear it?”

“avoiding memories I guess…” I said then I rested my head on her shoulder and she put her arms around me “…I’m sorry about this…” I said

“ash you have nothing to be sorry about…at all…don’t ever be sorry about this…”

“you’re amazing you know that?” I said looking into her eyes

“yeah well…you’re pretty amazing too…” she said smiling at me

“I wish everything with Brooke never happened…I feel like if I could just go back in time and change the way things happened she would still be here…” I said

“…well…if you were never with Brooke, then you and I probably wouldn’t be together…and I don’t know about you…but if I knew Brooke, and if she were still here…I’d have to thank her for that…” she said

“yeah I cant picture life right now without you…” I said kissing her soft lips
