“Okay, Spencer is taking way too long. You think she got lost?” Back in the kitchen, Kevin was starting to get worried about her.
“Probably. I still get lost in this house sometimes. I’m sure she’s okay. I can go check on her, “ Kyla responded as she turned to leave the kitchen in search of the lost member of the party.
“Spencer is probably fine. She’s a big girl. Come on. Give us a tour. For instance, where is the pool?” Aiden almost whined as he took ahold of Kyla’s arm. She turned back to Aiden with a questioning expression on her face.
"Haven’t you been here, like a hundred times?"
"Yeah, but I’ve never been here with you. It’s a totally different experience. Plus, Kevin’s never seen your pool," Aiden defended himself. They both looked to Kevin to make the final decision.
“Yeah, okay. You’re right. She’s probably fine,” Kevin said as he followed Kyla and Aiden away from the kitchen.
Spencer returned to the kitchen after applying many coats of cool water to her face. What is wrong with me? woah, where is everyone? She looked around but decided to sit on a barstool and wait for them. I’m not getting lost in this house again…people obviously have trouble closing their doors…. She shuddered when she remember what she had seen earlier and vowed to push all thoughts of Ashley kissing anyone’s neck from her mind. Anyone’s neck…
She started staring at a banana-hammock wondering about it’s purpose and significance in the world. Why do bananas need hammocks? Why not a bowl? Or just the fridge?
“You look bored.” It was a simple statement that came from Spencer’s right jolting her from her analysis of the banana-hammock. She felt a familiar chill go down her spine as she turned to look at the voice’s owner.
“Just lost everyone. This house is entirely too big, you know,” was Spencer’s response. The words sounded fine to her. She sounded like her heart wasn’t pounding out of her chest. She couldn’t understand, however, how this was possible because she was having quite a bit of trouble breathing at the moment. God, I hate how she makes me so nervous. Why am I so scared of her?

lol…this is just too funny…I love how seductive Ashley can get and how flushed Spencer always seems to be whenever around her…lol. LOVE IT!! Oh man, I hope Glen doesn’t go after Ashley, that’d be too weird!
I love how enigmatic Ashley is in this story. She’s a totally unknown quantity in this – impossible to read her – and the way she affects Spencer is written really well. Good on ya! I hope to be reading more soon :-D Jx

Ashley has the weirdest mood swings. I love it. :) I’m so glad that you update so often. Otherwise I would be lost with nothing to do. I love your story. Please continue. And Spencer being nervous? lol goodness when you wrote about spencer comtemplating the banana hammock i was like, why is there a speedo on the wall? cuz my friends and i call speedos that and i guess… well… i forgot banana hammocks really DO exist! BUT another wonderful update! i’m glad you’re taking time with the development of ashley and spencer’s relationship, all the while updating so frequently… i’m very appreciative!
