“Thanks… babe, I really have something that I need to tell you,” Spencer said. Ashley went to her side of the Porsche and began to drive.

“Alright, what’s up?” questioned Ashley. What is on my girl’s mind this morning?

“Actually it’s on my Dad’s mind, he wants you to come to dinner tonight,” Spencer responded.

“Ah, I see,” observed Ashley. Mr. C wants to make sure his daughter is in good hands.

“So it’s not a problem?” Spencer asked.

“Nope, not at all,” answered Ashley with a smile. We’re dating now so it’s only right that he wants to know what my intentions are.

“You are taking this really well,” Spencer observed. How come you’re not freaking out?

“Sweetie, I am freaking out on the inside,” responded Ashley. I want to make sure your Dad thinks the same thing that I do.

“What’s that?” Spencer questioned.

“That you are the girl for me,” responded Ashley sweetly.

Later on, Glen and Ashley were walking through the hallway. “Our Dad could be scary, Ash especially when it comes to who Spencer dates,” Glen warned. Spencer is already afraid that you’re going to get scared off by him.

“I don’t get scared off easily when it comes to Spencer,” stated Ashley. I’m not going to run away from her and what we have together without a fight. I’m not the best with meeting parents, but if your Dad accepting me is how I could still stay with Spencer, I’ll do it. I’ll do whatever it takes to be with your sister. I love her, Glen. I’ve always loved her. Do you know how long I have waited for her and after all the hoping and dreaming I’ve done, and she was willing to give us a chance? Even if I may be terrified of what’s going to happen tonight.

“I thought you were tough,” Glen joked.

“I am,” retorted Ashley.

“If you say so, it’s your funeral tonight,” Glen stated. Glen walked away from Ashley.

Later on, Ashley was at Spencer’s house. She sat next to Spencer. Spencer held Ashley’s hand under the table. “So, Ashley,” began Arthur.

“Yes, sir?” Ashley asked.

“Nice sucking up,” answered Glen.

“Shut up,” Spencer stated.

“What makes my daughter different from your past relationships?” questioned Arthur.
